Deegan salvages crap and diversity and comes out gaining points. His grit and determination is just like RC this kid is a savage and has shown the definition you win championships on your bad days !! He has what it takes to be a great champion ! This kid is a blast to watch !

With Chance and Haiden, at the start of the turn just before the apex, Chance squeezes in on Haiden from about half a bike behind. He pulls even with Haiden at the apex, they both start drifting out. At this point Chance is carrying a little more speed and starts to slide out, then dabs his foot down catching Haidens front wheel. I can see how Haiden thought it was a take out, but it was a racing incident

hymas dabbed his foot right in front of his front tire . this is a total accident the right side view hymas actually caused it ! its plain as day to see when you let it play. he kicked the tire. was not deegans fault !

On another KZbin channel, the incident was shown with a view you just showed at the 6:45 point and beyond for a bit, both were holding their lines; Chance started to wash, he put his foot down and the ground bounced his foot up into Haiden's front tire. It looks to me like it was 100% racing incident.

the difference between deegan and all other riders is i truly believe deegan is actually having fun and all the other riders look at it as work . deegan has the DOG in him to win. ill take heart and work ethic and true desire over any training program. in my opinion the way deegan rides is almost like ELI beast mode deegan style. send it beast mode to deegan go watch eli beast mode and tell me they both don't look simaler. Eli turned it on and off where deegan is beast mode all the time. thats why deegan will be another level. let him get really comfy on that 450 look out records. js something to watch as you analyze deegan. i see Eli in deegans riding for sure.

100% agree! When you are having fun and making money what more could you ask for. This is what makes it so difficult for the true privateers: work all week, drive all night, race all day, drive all night go to work Monday morning. The privateers are true grinders.

To me Hymas had the line but he lost the front. If he doesn’t dab, I don’t believe there’s a crash. It is just racing BUT, he was probably overriding to beat Deegan and to me, it was technically his fault. That being said, it all happens so fast. They’re not robots.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, deegan needs to win this 2024 250 outdoor title and then the 2025 250 SX title and then move up to the 450 class by next summer. All these less talented 250 riders that have taken deegan out, either purposely or accidentally, are more likely to shorten his career by constantly making dumb mistakes and taking out half the field. Weather you like it or not, hymas is the one that almost washed his front wheel and tried to correct himself and took deegan and a bunch of guys out. That’s the reality of it. This isn’t the first time some less talented 250 guy has taken deegan and half the field out on the start this season. You’re more likely to lengthen your career by moving up to the 450s as soon as possible and learning on the fly and racing more experience racers. Deegan is already a much better 250 outdoor rider than everyone else and once he gets 1 more 250 SX season in, title or not, he should move up. I’m willing to bet Brian deegan is thinking the same exact thing. 👍🏻

I think Chance kinda cut down to try n squeeze deegan off. They both had their own lines. Chance had no need to cut in but i dont think he has the confidence that he can stay ahead of haiden n beat him if they go into the corner so he tried to kinda squeeze him off but not in a dirty way. Dont think it was intentional but hymas did cut down when there was no need.

the pipe was titanium and pipe is also hot , it would not of broke just kinked and loss of power. im a mechanic, deegan also said it lost a little power.

Jetts style makes it look like it is more calculated. I've seen him get away with murder this SX season and right up to Hangtown. I stated several times that it would be a miracle if he got out of this season without injury...he didn't.

Haiden Deegan is turning out to be one of the best pure races the sport has seen in quite a while. He's very rarely the fastest qualifier. But when the gate drops, he can usually out-races whoever is in front of him. Whether it's one guy or twenty of them. He doesn't seem to care whose name is on the jersey in front of him. And he's willing to use whatever pieces of track he needs to make his moves. Jett may be a bit more talented than him. But it's hard to overlook Haidens' ability to read and adjust to what's happening in front of him. If you listen to his post race interviews, aside from his trolling, he can vividly recall just about everything that happened in the race. He's earning his respect for sure.

Hymas dabbed his foot and it kicked right into Deegans front wheel. Hymas was losing the front by trying to cut down in the line and it was 100% his fault. It's a right handed corner and Hymas was on the outside, Haiden was on the inside, inside controls right handed corners every time

Exactly, and Hymas had enough room to still get the hole shot as there was plenty of room to stay in his line and not pinch down. That was a rookie mistake to many of the young riders make.
