Lourdés loved going out today and jumped the hedges effortlessly. Tonic has already been out twice this week so needed a rest. Lourdés is also better suited for hill work as she is finer and lighter up the hills!

Love that there is a poney too just keeping up with the big horses. I guess you can do this with any good jumper in good condition. Connemara or Cob..

Very christmassy...with tinsel decorating your horse's brow band. Very exciting ride...thought it a wee bit dangerous with someone stopping right before a jump. Glad that all riders handled it well and avoided an accident. 👍

I am a big fan of Tonic. Even if your mare seems to be faster. Tonic seems to be easier to handle, more reliable etc. Or just like him better.

no they won’t because when hunting you go on roads as well and you can’t wear studs on the road

I tried a xc ride after I had fallen off over a jump a couple weeks prior and rolled over my neck...I was 100% fine but I think I definitely knocked my confidence and after going on the xc ride which sounded like a good idea my lack of confidence got the best of me and I ended up pulling out about 30 minutes in, I was petrified 🙈 will definitely give a xc/ hunt ride another go possibly next year tho when my confidence is well back lol

Usually around 3:6ft..we do have some 4ft jumps. 5hrs of jumping jumps can t be to high Horses start getting a bit tired. Even through there are stops. But only for about 2-4 min

I'm sorry. It does look fun! But, it looks like a way to get hurt by someone else. Too many riders cutting in front of you or stopping before jumps etc. You're lucky to get out of there alive. I would need a stiff drink at the end lol.
