Rare plants are just the buzzword of today, what people really want are unique plants and I think that's where the future of the plant world is heading, once most of the rare plants become common due to flooding of the market. Then the most expensive plants will be those that look unique in their form, like a piece of organic artwork.

I LOVE asparagus ferns! They are so fairy-esque. 🧚♀️ They’re the most delicate, fluffy, beautiful little things. Tip: let an asparagus fern climb up a rope (or a macrame pot holder/hanger). It’s the most beautiful, dainty growth ever. It’s just so aesthetically pleasing. And I’m a huge fan of Blue Star ferns too. I’m in a very very humid, warm area and mine have gone nuts in my backyard. They’re such a gorgeous hue. I think the Triostar is such an under-appreciated plant (and I’m not typically a calathea fan). That fuschia back is stunning. Love this video! While I love my rare beauties and love to see your regular content, this one was wholesome and fun!

This might be my favorite of your videos, so far. I loved your imitation of the alocasia. Desperation has caused many US growers to re-introduce some really old, classic Granny plants and I'm in love. I'm staring at a Sugar Vine right now and it's a bouncy cutie. I cannot grow a Heartleaf phil. Mine is stunted and unhappy. My calatheas are among my most neglected plants, by their choice. The minute I fuss, they start their antics, especially that Fusion White. When I let them alone, they're their own little jungle.

My tip for keeping prayer plants and ferns, keep the soil moist, even the asparagus fern.. I bought this tiny one once, and it's been with me for years, and it's grown big and beautiful. I absolutely adore it, it sent out these loooong vines in winter, as I had placed it in a darker area, and I tried to make it so it would grow out around my hanging lamps, but it was just to dark for it. I guess I have to buy some growlight bulbs for next winter. 🤔😉

I love this video. It really grounds people in the beginning of our collections and what started the love of plants. I actually had been moving my collection back to the more hardy and beautiful plants I started with. And all the ones you have said are on my list. In one form or another. 😊 More sought after plants were annoying me with the drama/ people’s behaviour that come with them. I do suggest as a fellow Calathea lover the Musaica. It is so hardy and gorgeously. I have it in a self water pot soil and leave it alone for a few weeks. It’s always pushing new leaves. Maybe not as colourful but the dimension or the networking on the leaves. 😘 chefs kiss. Definitely interested in a picking out a large form video. And maybe a what to look for when picking a plant. Multi- planted, insects damage, rot on discount plants. Things like that. 😊 Wish I could buy from you in Australian. Let us know if you will ever open up sales to the British colony across the pond. 🇦🇺🌱🙏🏼 Thanks again and love the work. 🥰

Hey Kaylee LOVE your videos! the Asparagus Plumosa "fern" is not a real fern is it closely related to the asparagus people eat. there are a few different variety that are commonly grown at least here in California. I agree the asparagus are super cool and one of the easiest "fern-like" plants.
