Have been watching Colby Osborn build one for a little while, but his is a side by side.

Did you complete the plane yet? I’m about to put a deposit on one. Was curious how long it took you and how many hours a week you put into it. What was your total cost?

Still working on it, haven't done much since oshkosh. Back on it now. I expect to finish in March. Total cost will be around 74k. With approximately 1000 hours of labor. Everything is new with GRT 10.1 Sport efis and their engine monitors

@@frankjohnson7388 thanks for the information. I was thinking more around 90k. So, that’s good news. I’m told I will not get mine until later next year. I am a little intimidated but I think I can do this. I have a lot of free time on my hands. I can’t wait to see your finished product.

Definitely do it. Lots of help on the forums and Mark G. Great. The LSA is the best performer in its class hands down. I owed a 2016 Rans S7s that was a great plane. But the LSA is better all around. Where are you located?

@@frankjohnson7388 I live in a small town called Dillard Georgia. It’s about 1 and a half hours north of Atlanta in the mountains. That’s another reason I wanted this LSA. I’ve trained in a Cubcrafters Sports Cub. I’m trying to find a day to ride out to Bobs place to look at his. Where are you located?
