The story falls apart when you remember the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) has Article 134 (Adultery). Article 134 (Adultery) states that the maximum punishment is a Dishonorable Discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for one year. Also, the catchall article, Article 134 deal with other than honorable conduct.
