Calisthenics and bodyweight strength training advice for older athletes.
OK, take 2. I decided that I don’t like the Shorts format, so I’m going to make these as normal (but short) videos.
While I’m waiting for my shoulder to heal, I thought I would post all my best stuff from after I turned 50. This one is from October 2016 - the day after I turned 50.

You say "pretty good form." No one on the internet has better form than you do. And I don't think that advancing age (I'm not talking about you) is an excuse for bad form. We can all try for full range of motion (with toes pointed and legs as straight as possible) even in our dotage.

OMG - my handstand pushups are terrible. Just watch the way Simon (simonster strength) does them. It's a completely different move when you can maintain a hollow body throughout the move. It's about ten times harder than when you arch. I think I never had anywhere near the strength to do them like that. But thanks :)
