Wild how far you've come man, looking forward to the next journey. I've always gravitated to watching your vlogs more so than other just because you are simply real and the issues you speak out about are genuinely relatable. I've been wanting to do a workout grind/transformation like this for so long now but always just fall off after a month or two because Ill just put the gaming content or streaming grind first and then I regret it because I'm just not active enough, I lose the progress and just spiral back down. Watching this genuinely inspired me and I'm going to get a few others in the same boat as me to push each other to do the same thing, 60 days, gym ONCE a day (I aint you big bro) and eating clean starts today.

Remember at pax east in boston way way back, when you were playing a halo tourney you guys lost to evil geniuses I saw you and the team outside and my instant reaction was to run up and hug you and say some words of encouragement, you probably dont remember it but its really impactful to me today to see your journey and know that ive physically met someone that is a mentor to me and have the same issues and struggle with the same thing as someone ive looked up to since I was young. Thank you nick for being open with your downfalls and your struggles, it helps alot of us more than you can even comprehend. Keep being the nick we all love and dont ever doubt yourself cause you got the drive to do anything. Much love homie preciate you niac

Yours and Hecz VLOGs are unmatched! Glad to see you back and hopefully you continue with at least one a week. Also, you got a good metabolism, so you'll def be able to do this cut. With your body type I don't even think you need to go that HAM with the diet. Like, just getting rid of snacking on junk food and hitting your calorie deficit + protein goes a LONG way.

Maniac, I’m a strength & conditioning coach and doctor of physical therapy student. Love the challenge you’re about to undergo, but make sure you rest dude. Some of those days, your two workouts should be really light like stretching/yoga/light cardio. Don’t burn your body out brother. Super excited for your come up though, the shred is going to look insane. Much love much respect, as always
@T12771 Жыл бұрын
Hey Maniac, I’ve never really had a issue with the working out side, but I’ve always struggle to actually eat clean, would help if you say at the end of a week or two, talk about what helps you out on the eating side, what you’re having for breakfast, lunch and dinner and whatnot, I know I would appreciate it since you seem to have a similar body build as mine
@LORD_ORiGiNALz Жыл бұрын
I love how you're just so real and I can't wait for this documentary for the 60 days. Once I'm done college in June I'mma try do the 60 days as well but for my I am too busy to be able to go gym twice a day but I'mma go gym almost everyday and then some days I'll just do pure cardio and I'll be clean eating and trying to figure out calories and shit like that, get my sprint I used to have before fucking up my hamstrings and hopefully become better person, better physically, and better mentally. So thank you for the motivation as of right now I do go gym and I play rugby so I try go to the gym twice a week then I have training twice a week and basically every Sunday I have matches so I'mma sorta fit but I want to become even more fitter and stronger!

TL;DR - Just use your phone to film tbh. Actual comment - To get the "benefits" out of a dedicated camera, you need a specific kind of setup which can be inconvenient to carry arounds and expensive. If you're interested, here are the 3 primary requirements to get the full benefits from a dedicated camera: 1) IBIS, or in-body image stabilization: This keeps the video from being super shaky when filming by hand. 2) Full frame camera: Full frame cameras have a wider angle so your head doesn't take up the whole image (kinda like it did in this video). APS-C and Micro 4/3 cameras have a crop factor, which make things appear closer to the camera than they actually are. Full frame cameras are the move for "pro style" vlogs but they are bulky and expensive. 3) Small lens focal length: You need a wide angle lens for vlogging, again to make yourself appear "normal" when facing it towards you. 24mm is okay, but 18mm or smaller is better for full frame cameras. If you are using an APS-C, the crop factor is about 1.5, meaning a 24mm lens would effectively give you the look of a 35mm lens on a full frame camera so you would need even smaller focal length to compensate for the crop factor.
