I have been a follower almost from day one, and as i am a poor DIY tinker myself. At first i thought: "oh cool, some another rich guy with my dream Lambo and nice RX-7" and i have never been that interested from rotaries, but when you showcased the 4-rotor first time. I thought that's a very cool project and: "oh cool, this rich guy has some money to build that kind of monster ride". But after you released the video about being pissed off to wait the experts build it, and started to build it yourself in your own shop, this channel has been absolutely fire for me! And not seeing Rob anymore as a 'some rich guy' in my eyes. As im also a machinist and programmer for my daily living, it's so cool to see that some random person just starts to learn this hard industry for his hobby stuff! That got my 110% respects for Rob. No time was wasted watching this video rob, been irregularly checking in on your channel for around 6 years, being an INTJ (mad scientist type) myself the seemingly insane drive at 3am for what to others deem an unattainable endeavour just to see your own projects succeed heavily resonates with me & I'm sure many others that aspire to do what you do. (make cool stuff and rip sick wheelies) Keep up the grind Rob, we're all cheering you on. Even if we can't support you on patreon.

Rob, I’ve been following you for years now ever since you announced the 4-Rotor project, and every second of it has been a blast. Seeing you at your best and worst, but seeing how dedicated you are no matter what happens is so inspirational. The most important thing you’ve taught me is life lessons on dedication and passion for what you love and striving to get better at. No matter what happens, your dedicated fans will always be here to support you and your dreams. I’m happy to see where you’re at now and just as excited for what’s to come. Keep killing it Rob!

This video literally changed my frame of mind. I knew recently how much more you've asserted yourself to the content and how much sleep you've lost over it but I was nowhere in the ballpark of assuming your personal life and this video has changed and humbled my perspective. Thanks for being you Rob, you're absolutely killing it!

Rob, I remember seeing the 4 rotor as just a proof of concept at sema. I looked into it and found that this guy that cried on the bachelorette was building it (I’m not hating. I cry too. I would like to think we both did about the 14 minute mark on this video). I have seen you come up from nothing and build everything you have built. I know I speak for several of us when I say you have given us inspiration. Seeing you do everything yourself; finding out what works and what doesn’t along the way. Testing the established methods. Saving me from going through oil pumps. :) You have lit a fire under my ass and start my own ambitious projects. You have proven to me that if I push and push hard I can make any goal I make for myself. Thank you.

The difference between Rob and other car youtubers is curiosity and investment. Im not saying other youtubers don't work hard, im just sayin this dude is becoming a mechanical engineer, machinist, chemical scientist, etc by searching and learning on his own while doing everything else that we see in the videos. That's insane! You are an inspiration Rob, keep it up!

This is why I've stuck around so long. Every video, every project we can see the effort and time you put into these cars and everything you have done. If it weren't for seeing you overcome hard tasks, I wouldn't have any inspiration to finish my FC. Most of car KZbin is people having no issues spending incredible amounts of money and all the sudden having a running and driving car. If you ever started selling engines/housings/irons or anything like that, id definitely buy some. It definitely would be great for the market right now

It’s the video’s like this that keep us here. Wheelies and horsepower are great, but it’s your journey and lessons that you bring us with you, those are the things that the true enthusiasts appreciate. You’re showing us things the pro’s want to keep secret because those things are money. It’s a huge inspiration to all of us and humbling to know that it’s possible to do these things. I feel there are a large amount of us who don’t own a rotary, myself included, that can appreciate the things you bring to light. Things that apply to cars in general but also rotary awareness.

Just a quick Google and I learned just how expensive just buying a 4 rotor would be... I don't have the space or technical expertise to build one from the ground up, let alone make it even semi reliable. Being able to buy a Dahm spec 3 or 4 rotor to put it in something it doesn't belong in would be amazing

It is very inspiring to me because i've been in a dark spot in my life for a while now just lost on what to do in life working bullshit jobs just to keep a roof over my head and food in front of me and saving every bit ican for any kind of little project i can get. It's very inspirational to see someone that i have looked up to for a while go through some very ruff shit and still stay motivated and keeping these projects going. im sorry im bad with wording things but i hope to one day build my own 3 rotor fd! Man, you say that you feel guilty, but you're giving us a lot more than you think. What you say is a waste of our time... You're giving us encyclopedic knowledge on things that a LOT of other people refuse to talk about. Every dollar that you spend, you document what happens with it and share the knowledge. It's not too far from saving us money since we are gaining a lot of the lessons learned without the cost to play. I *will* build a rotary at some point now, and that's because I have so much more confidence that I can make it happen through everything you've shown me. Thanks for putting it all on the line. We're happy you're here, and we're excited to see your success continue
