Chris ... I am the engineer and R&D guy for Magnus. I have probably killed more birds with Bullheads than anyone out there. I have done a ton of videos on the Magnus channel and my New Day Outdoors channel. We sell arrows for the Bullheads too. You really should try a 300 spine arrow instead of the 340 in the video. You can use regular feathers too rather than the flu-flu's. Let me know if you have any questions or need any assistance. I am personally located in northern Indiana, so if you want some hands on input with these just let me know. Lifetime warranty and made in the USA. We replace those blades free of charge through out warranty. That bent blade can throw the shot off. I have a "Set Up To Success" video on the DVD's in those packs to where I take you through all of the "why's and how's" - Derek Craig (Magnus Broadheads & New Day Outdoors)

I love the woods and am back there every chance I get on foot or a 4 wheeler or a bike or a truck it’s best on foot imo to enjoy everything undisturbed . It takes 10-15 for the animals to accept us when we set still to go back to doing their thing . Cracks me up to see a chipmunk or groundhog pop their head out to watch the human 😂👍. Soon as you make eye constant they re gone unless they are used to you . One day they ll welcome you and come visit if you bring them food and set still . It takes a few months depending on the animal but it’s very rewarding .

not all countries are allowed to use bladed broadheads for small game, such as canada, only allowed to use blunt tips such as judo points, would you try blunt tips? what is more efficient and make a cleaner ethical kill? aim for head or body?

@NewDayOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@bix12593 Sorry you didn't like my "wrong" reply. But so say that they "don't fly well" is flat wrong. In every package of heads is a DVD where I personally take you from knowing nothing about the system to answering 98% of anything that could come up with the system. I take you through both the "how's" and "why's" of the system, basically so that if you understand the physics then you will understand why you need to set up a certain way. But to say that they "don't fly well" is wrong. Yeah they won't fly well if you use the wrong arrow or your tune is off. But if you follow the info on the DVD (same info is on the Magnus KZbin Channel and my personal channel), then they will fly. I have footage of shots out to 50 yards at water bottles. I have nearly 40 kills with the Bullheads. I have helped everyone from NFL athletes pulling 80# and 32" draws down to kids at 30# and 24" draws how to setup and hunt with Bullheads. They do fly and fly well ... you have to implement the fundamentals. I cannot change the physics of having giant airplane wings out front of the arrow, so you have to follow the system ... and then yes they do fly well. I am always available to help anyone.

Saw a beautiful large one yesterday walking next to the road all brave . Plenty of turkeys around . I might take one this year with a bow 👍👍. I always giggle when I see them lose their heads with a shotgun on video . I guess it’s humane but man , the slow motion of Turkey headshots and neck shots with a bow is gruesome but hey who doesn’t like to eat Turkey . I feel bad for them cows tho …they’re kinda like dogs and some chickens are cool too . Even as I watch the little deer play like puppies I can’t help but wonder if the general population lives the animals as much as some of us hunters ? I think long and hard before taking any life but if I had to to eat I wouldn’t have a problem with it but just to kill animals for target practice I think is wrong and people wonder why there used to be so many more animals in the woods when they were younger . We must let them come back and thin the herd as necessary . Poor coyotes having a hard time adapting to getting pushed around . They’re hardly dangerous unless in a pack then you better beware . You can hear them panting with headgear on but direction is confusing . It’s a scary sound to hear 3-4 of them panting but not knowing where they are . One time I went up a well after hearing that and low and behold a giant buck in velvet walks 10 ft in front of me while standing on gas well stairs . He just looked at me like hey man , thanks for throwing them dogs off me . I ve seen him a few times since then watching me from the corner and I know he has a cpl newborns closeby because I seen them sitting in the grass and he’s usually within a hundred yards . There’s 3 old large females that have made a home on the property . Right now there’s about 30 of them back there and they do laps around the property all day . The bucks rarely come out in the daytime . Every once in awhile I ll see them about 50 yards back but they re not com8g out like the little ones and females . They love the cranberry trees . Highly suggest o sting as many as possible . Everywhere I go where there’s a cranberry tree I see deer visiting several times a day

Hunting with this broad head last year. Hard pass, too hard to tune and shoot consistently and at 15yds hit a tom at the base of the neck area and broke a blade off (assume blade that hit him) and that turkey got away. Hunting Broad heads offer s many more options for shots.
