@kristenrockwell66375 ай бұрын
@@seezyn5262 I know this is way too long, but bear with me, and you will see that my reply is not due to damage, to my brain or sanity. Or don't, I can't make you do anything. If you had the time for that conversation, you'd be charging me a hundred fifty dollars an hour to have it. But honestly, it's just a being realistic thing. These people make TV shows for the internet, and they get popular because they play a convincing character. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I like plenty of traditional actors, but I understand they are not their characters in real life. I like the character Sheldon Cooper, I like the actor Jim Parsons, they are not the same person. And I wasn't saying any of this to tarnish Alex, through charity and stuff, and his dedication to his family and craft, I admire him, he seems to be a good man. I was just pointing out that OJ, despite being friends with Alex, is not putting on a performance for an audience. He is just being his true to life self. Mostly because of other comments calling him an alien, or robot, which is dehumanizing a man, just for being real. I too love cars, and have my whole life. Hell, it's the only thing me and my dad ever agreed on, and the only reason we got along sometimes. But I react the same way, to even the most impressive cars. I don't smile ear to ear just because it's fast, or sounds great. I'm impressed, but not expressive, I don't laugh uncontrollably, because there isn't an audience expecting me to be. All my car friends have always been the same way. All of this atop the fact that I've met, and talked to several big youtubers over the years, and they all express the same sentiment: their on-screen performance is a character, not the real them. And they know even more famous people than I do, and have said they are almost all the same. Very few are their genuine self on camera, because that is not what draws an audience. Acting does.

I kept the exhaust quiet on it, partly to maintain back-pressure and spare the engine, but also because I didn't want anyone to know I was coming or going. If the Po Po don't know you're there they won't come find you. I didn't street race as my car wasn't a low-end beast, but If i was going anywhere I was going at 100mph. I topped it at 140 once, replace a couple rocker arms, and didn't do that anymore.
