Back in 2017, I was in secondary school (year 10) when a girl (who I had a massive crush on and was really attractive) confessed that she loved me but I couldn’t pluck up the courage to ask her out. I’d known her since I was in year 3 but never had the faintest idea she felt this way about me, we were more or less only on a first name basis. I knew she was sincere about her feelings otherwise she wouldn’t have said it. I have autism and I find communication challenging so it would have been difficult for me to even start a conversation. I know I’m a coward and I should have just gone for it since she obviously would have said yes. It’s the single biggest regret of my life. I know this was a very long time ago but I still think about it often. I just wish I had the courage to have spoken to her, I feel like we could have an amazing relationship together and my heart aches just thinking about it. Well, my college crush called me a stalker, weirdo and a creep, and blocked me on every social media platform possible, and this was before I was about to ask her out, plus what makes it worst was that she told me this over instagtam.
