I decided to stop straightening my hair as much in November 2019 and I only straightened it about every 2 months if I did straighten it. Then I cut it about every 3 months and it looks so much better now. It’s still transitioning to be more defined but I could definitely see big improvement from when I first started.

@laraamiri18744 жыл бұрын
Lisa Colalillo ngl it looks messy from time to time. My hair is extremely voluminous and my roots grow really tall before my hair starts to weigh down so I looked weird for 2 months. But now it‘s very shiny and soft and I‘m really glad I did the chop. Whenever I feel insecure about the way it looks I wear hats, hair clips or use gel.
@laraamiri18744 жыл бұрын
Lisa Colalillo but to be frank, the lockdown has led me to not leave the house as frequently as I used to and other than the looks of it, the pros have outweighed the cons by far. Shorter hair = lower maintenance, fewer products & more time efficiency. So if you don‘t mind a couple of awkward months I highly recommend you do it because now I feel so much better and my scalp has recovered so mucj

Hii, could you please do a video on your hair in a time span of a week? So what oils, hair treatments etc you would do in a week. My hair has curls but is really dry right now and I’m really oblivious as to what exactly I should do to get shiny healthy looking curls. I’m really tired of the frizz :( I want to see your routine in order to learn and simulate some things. The only thing I’m certain of is the fact that my hair needs moisture!! How do I incorporate that in my routine? Currently I can’t even do a wash and go (never done it) because my hair is simply incapable of even holding the curls for a day. Love your videos btw! Kisses from the Netherlands.
@TheCurlStory4 жыл бұрын
I have tried conditioning every day until it got more moisture. Just "wash" with conditioner. The added water and conditioner helped to heal my hair. OR Clarify to remove build up then follow with a Deep conditioner with a heated cap - I love mine from Thermal hair care. The heat helps to open the hair cuticle and absorb the moisture better. Hope that helps! xoApril

Ok my hair is just like your before right now and I have been at this for about 3 years and I still can’t figure it out. Im recently on a no protein regimen because I noticed If I did a protein mask my hair would get a ton of frizz on the crown so I left it out so I use the tgin hair mask no protein and my hair is so soft and way less frizz but not defined curls. Then I don’t use no protein in my leave in either so not sure if that’s the imbalance and gels for some reason just dry out my hair

Slowly start cutting the damaged ends off if you are still wanting to keep your length. If you really want your curls back you have to stop straightening it all together. Deep condition your hair 1-2 times a week. It wont happen over night but after a few months you'll be able to see a difference!

So I know bleaching it blonde is a no no, but want about putting some highlights and toner, would that be bad? And on 2nd day hair do you get your hair wet every day to refresh your curls?
@marissa_lanae4 жыл бұрын
I do higher lights every few months! It can be damaging but do protein treatments a few days before and after & that really helps! And deep condition once a week! It depends on how much frizz I have. Sometimes a hair oil is enough and I don’t have to re wet it and other times I just re-wet the top portion 😊

@marissa_lanae4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! :) So sometimes people are just born with fine soft hair so its not as hard to get their curls to look or feel soft. I have medium density and I found that using a leave in conditioner can help make my curls feel softer (my favorite is the Am I Am leave in)
@alyssalopez69634 жыл бұрын
