Your hair is very pretty and that particular length really suits you. The added bit of purple on the ends is youthful and fun looking! The end result is that the end result of the silver, purple, and the cut is youthful, fun, and very flattering on you. I too, have been wanting to let my gray grow in, but I have my doubts as to how it would look with my olive toned skin! You have a similar skin tone to myself and these colors look great on you! I'm not sure if you will read this as I'm late to the party, but I thought I would at least share my appreciation for your video. I've been looking for fun ways to handle my transition, I'm dedicated to going gray and getting to my natural hair color, but I have not liked the lack of control I feel over how I present myself and my gray. I love what you've done with your color, it's not overly dramatic, but fun, and clearly not hiding your natural color. This has been super valuable, and I hope you know that even a year later you're still providing positive influence.

As long as Nutrise is on the market, i won't be gray. And, i'm 76. I don't like gray. It would make me look 20 years older. But, it looks good on you. My skin is too light

I decided that my medium brown hair is much too dark for my age (66). I'm also tired of dyeing the gray roots every 3 weeks. I'm going to use a color remover (Color Fix) this weekend and get as much of the brown out as possible. I'll see what is left behind and then decide where to go from there. I also might just remove the color from the top portion of my hair and let the rest grow out naturally. BTW-Your hair looks beautiful.

My hair is dark brown and curly. Long. I’ve been growing out my white locks since March. A month a go I used product Overtone purple conditioner for brown hair. I loved how my hair came out. Like you doing the same. I just don’t want to cut my hair. I did get some good tips you shared. Thank you. Going to try the shimmer shampoo and possibly the Pravana in the future. The Overtone just now is starting to fade. I don’t wash my hair but once a week, maybe a little longer because I have curly hair. I do also use leave in conditioner as well. 😉

@@anampallares Thank you! Have made my decision but at 62, seems more like a no brainer. Haven’t even missed a hair appointment, yet! Was planning to have my stylist do the color stripping and add toner and highlights but am afraid what that will look like. 😟 Considering the secret method were you color one strip on the side on top and part along that strip to hide the grow out. I do a deep side part anyway. As the gray grows out you can part closer to center or the other side and then quite dyeing that one strip. I know it takes longer but also looks pretty cool. 😁 I have my salt/pepper shoulder length grey wig and another about the same length but different style in a 4n with cool highlights and a blonde platinum with darker roots that is more of a Pixie I am waiting on to see what I look like with very short hair just in case it comes to that. 😄 Your length and my grey hair wig length are about as short as I have had it before.

That was fantastic! I wish I had done that on my mousy brownish orange ends while growing out my grey. Instead I lost patience and cut it short. Now it’s a grey pixie grow out. You are very beautiful and very real. Bravo on this video. Hope you get tons of views😊

I was afraid at first too, but I saw others who looked great once it was all grown out! I’m really not afraid of people thinking I look old - that’s usually a reflection on themselves and their self image. @@orange222... I still use the Shea moisture products - the “Curl & style milk” and “curling gel soufflé” to style. They are available on Amazon, Target, Walmart, Walgreens & CVS. But for the toning of my white hair I no longer use the one mentioned because it dried out my hair too much. (I really need to do an update) I now use the purple shampoo and purple conditioner from the Kerotin line (not sold in stores) once or twice a week - but ONLY on my white - it will fade the purple. I didn’t really notice that happen. (All of the dyed brown has been gone for a while now) I do notice now that all of my dyed brown has grown out that the purple I put on my ends fades quicker. You have to be really careful not to use purple (toner) shampoo on the dyed areas - just on the white/gray. 😉

I have seen several women on you-tube - that go grey and look like their hair is wet. It is not a good look - to have grey WET LOOKING HAIR - because it looks greasy and not cared for.

Not really sure if you are saying that my hair looks “greasy and not cared for” . 🤔 I have curly hair so maybe that is the defined curls you see as opposed to frizz. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been and I love it and am secure with the way I look, just trying to empower other women to feel the same and not tear them down. ☺️
