Look-no. Everyone there is no need to worry- Grub mimics are clearly not corpse creepers. Yes they do look similar,but there are also things that prove they are completely diffrent species. 1:grub mimics make ear piercing noises when corpse creepers are completly silent,as they are only parasites that only control dead bodies,and therefore its biologically impossible for them to make sounds like the grub mimics do. 2:corpse creepers clearly have spider legs when grub mimics have legs that are more tentacle like and flail everywhere in their mad dash.(and Im not even gonna talk about the eye like thingamajig that comes out of their mouth.) 3:grub mimics cant climb walls when corpse creepers can. And most importantly: *4:the goddamn hunter has clearly made seperate entries for the two creatures.* So calm down so I can continue my JoJo's Bizarre Adventure marathon uninterrupted.

Sorry for being late to the video. Holidays and stuff. For that room in abyss, you need to come there with a certain number of lifeblood masks. Try talking to the Snail Shaman who gave you Vengeful Spirit. She has an... interesting reaction to Abyss Shriek. I mean, it should be clear Snail Shamans never went to Abyss. Tip for Crystal/Enraged Guardian (when you fight him again in Godhome): abuse Shade Cloak. You used it, but you didn't abuse it, if you do this boss becomes a joke. When you do Delicate Flower quest, if you choose to go through Fog Canyon, do not, I repeat, DO NOT equip minions. In fact, never go through Fog Canyon with minions in general. They will attack the exploding jellyfish like idiots and it'll be game over faster than you can say "stop". Umm... There is a charm notch in Fog Canyon... Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you got it. Why is it not on the map?! The achievement is for buying all Cornifer's maps. Go back to Godhome and fight Uumuu there... Let's just say Quirrel isn't there to crack Uumuu's shell for you and that completely changes how you fight this boss. This is the only boss in the whole game who gets changed this much in Godhome and I want you to see it. Did you notice?.. When you killed Lurien, it was night. When you killed Monomon... The sun was rising. I won't tell you why this is happening when you break the seals, but... Pay attention to this. Jellyfish are actually uninfected. In fact... They were artificially created. Dream nail dialogue makes it clear. Since you didn't seem to get it. Cornifer was so scared of Deepnest that he only covered less than 10% of it on his map. 48:10 No, you aren't having hallucinations... This is your doppelganger. Sharp Shadow also makes your shadow dash longer. So not recommended for platforming. People usually find Deepnest's Vessel Fragment very hard, but I don't get it. Seems like you also didn't struggle with that at all, thank god we can relate on that. *WEAVERSONG IS AMAZING.* With Sprintmaster, weavers become much more agile and responsive and fast. With Grubsong, weavers give you soul each time they hit someone. With all those synnergies, Weaversong becomes in my opinion the second best minion charm in the game, and the only reason I consider fully powered Grimmchild to be better is because he, unlike weavers, actually attacks in the air which is the only disadvantage of weavers. *Definitely consider using them.* Idk how to end this comment so... Have fun in deepnest.

Some tips: With your new dash, you can dash through enemies without taking damage, this can help you with the Grey Mourner's flower quest, because you can dash through enemies, avoiding the damage, and not hurting the delicate flower in the process. Make sure to get the Awoken Dream Nail, by getting 1800 essence, because using it can allow you to enter the King's palace, which if you remember you couldn't with the regular Dream Nail (You tried to Dream Nail the knight, but there was a seal of binding on it, that you can only open with the Awoken Dream Nail). It's also important for the last boss fight, but not gonna tell you why ;). You can meet with the Queen, who is in the Queen's Gardens, so keep searching! (She's also quite important with the last boss fight) There is an opening into the Hive right after you get off the big tram. If you continue right when you get off the tram you will see some tiny bees, right beside them will be a breakable wall leading into the Hive. That's all i can think of right now, if you thing Merg should see more tips, leave them in the replys, i'm sure he'll appreciate :D

This is the video that made me aware of this games existence and blessed me with the most enjoyable experience I've ever had Let me paint you a picture I'm a younger person and I've just got home from another boring day of school so I decide to watch some of my favourite youtubers and while I'm looking through mergs channel I see this video and I think to myself "that game looks good" so I decide to watch the video and about halfway through I have to go do something and forget about it. About 1 or 2 years later a new thing on PlayStation has come out called "PlayStation now." Kind of like the Xbox gamepass but you can also stream games on it (this is included in a new PlayStation plus now) and like 10 days after some new games come out and I see the game "hollow knight" and suddenly the memories come flooding back and I think "this is that game I saw merg play" so I decide to get it and I end up playing it more and more and more exploring hallownest and after finishing my journey I learn about godhome and after quitting the game for a while because of pantheon of hallownest I decide to go back and I finally complete it. At that moment I felt more complete than I have ever felt before and I owe it all to this video Thank you merg for playing this game and thank you to anybody who read this.

Getting the wings or killing a dreamer is one of the key points in the game. 46:10 the Mossy Vagamond is an unique enemy that WOULD have been encountered in that room. Basically, if you had found that area before the first dreamer, those dudes would have been alive, and you could have spoken to the thing in the background. But, because you've already found 2 dreamers, all that remains are their corpses so that you could at least get the hunters journal completed. Also: There is still a warrior dream inside the Fungal Wastes that can be easily accessed. However, its not super important so you don't have to do it right now. Deepnest is, as you have already said, quite big, so keep your eyes peeled for secrets! 🍒

Merg you should really go back to challenge the Coliseum of Fools, you get some pretty good stuff for winning and a good amount of geo, even if you lose that place is filled with unique journal entries you won't get elsewhere. Also you missed something pretty cool in Deepnest, go to the hot spring and take a left then hop across the worm pit to find a breakable wall, the story with your clone is not over ;)

Trust me merg, the shade cloak is the best thing in the game, try to use it as much as possible. There is still a breakable wall in the fog canion in the right side for a really good thing.

The lifeblood door in the abyss has two items inside. Once your inside and explore enogh, there will be a fork in road that offers to go left or right. go left first. On the right is a charm that once collected will kick you out of the sub area. To the left is a arcane egg which you only have one chance to get before you leave. Get the arcane egg first, which is time the left. Then you will be right next to the charm. Though if you go to the right and get the charm immediately. You will be kicked out of the area. This place can only be accessed ONCE and requires 22 lifeblood masks to enter. Just remember to GO LEFT FIRST.

Ahh, the Teacher's Archives...I love that place, as sad as it makes me. I'm actually quite fond of Uumuu simply because Quirrel helps you fight it. - If you're low on masks and Soul in Fog Canyon, Dream Nail the jellyfish! Not only can it save your life, but it also provides you with some interesting and unique Dream Nail dialogue. - If you hit the Oomas into acid (down strike while they're above it) or out of the level (directly into a doorway, harder to aim right) then the core won't come back to kill you. It's often simpler to avoid them entirely, but if you need the Journal entry or just want to kill them, this is a relatively safe way to do it. If aimed properly, Shade Soul can also work, since it has the chance of hitting both the Ooma and its core. - You don't actually need Isma's Tear to get through the Archives; it's difficult, and I've never done it myself, but it can be done with just the Crystal Heart. - As much as I would love to explain the full story with the Dreamers, I believe that would be a bit too spoiler-y and should wait for the end of the playthrough. I will say this: Lurien believed that the Seals should remain, because the Dreamers made a promise. And Monomon believed that the Seals needed to be broken, because to her, eternal life in an unchanging world would be a fate worse than death. I won't say anything about Herrah, though; not until you reach her. Monomon is my favorite Dreamer, partially because of Quirrel and partially because I share her beliefs about the Seals. - You can also tell which Grubs are real or not based on their Dream Nail dialogue! Mimics will think "Kill..." but real Grubs are only thinking of home. - You could have discovered the area with the Mossy Vagabonds before they died; the big one in the middle was an NPC who admittedly doesn't have much (if any) important dialogue. I believe their deaths were triggered at the same time as the Infected Crossroads. - If you Crystal Dash off of the platform at 1:14:07, there is a breakable wall and a secret thing. There's also another breakable wall inside the secret thing. Secrets within secrets within secrets...
