Only thing England has going for them is defense. Unable to press high, counter attack, and even play with ball possession. Sorry, on paper great team but the chemistry is missing between the players especially in the midfield and attack. Especially from individuals like Jude Bellingham who is just overhyped like most English players & Harry Kane you'd expect more individual effort to create those spaces and get behind the defense but they both for the most part looked like they just want the rest to do the work. Foden, great player but is struggling and making stupid decisions, seems to unsure and lacks confidence so far. Not sure what is going on with England, because they got the quality but it seems like they cannot play with each other. And don't get me started on Southgate, probably the worst Manager in the Euros. He probably needs to get sacked for England to start performing to their expectations. Best player for England so far in attack has been Kyle Walker and he is a defender ... that should say enough.

No one predicted Austria would come in first, not even myself; I hoped for second. But now, it's done-we're on top. Facing Turkey, some Turkish fans even told me they believe Austria will win, which is significant given their patriotic nature. For me, it's one game at a time. If we beat Turkey, we’ve achieved our goal, no matter what happens next. However, if we make it to the finals, I hope we face Germany. I believe they are currently stronger than France, and to be honest, if we reach the finals, I want to compete against the strongest possible opponent.

One of the things Rangnick has cleverly done is continually rotate his team, changing a few players each game to try keep that freshness. It’s something Southgate should maybe have done especially when thinking of energy levels

It’s unnecessary to be so aggressive when it’s very easy to qualify for the RO16 thanks to 4/6 3rd placed teams making it out. It’s quite a genius strategy by Southgate. As for Slovakia, I’m not saying they’re bad. They’re just average. They got a lucky win against Belgium (Lukaku squandered a lot of good chances) and lost to last place Ukraine.

If Austria have to go full pelt in every game I predict they run out of juice. Hard work gets you so far but sometimes you just need a maverick and we're yet to see the Austrian gamechanger. Fully expect England to beat Slovakia on pens, not sure they do much else because they're suffering from the English disease of shrinking under pressure (and overrating certain players like Trent and expecting too much from them when they simply aren't capable of delivering at that level). Martinez could derail Portugal very easily, talks a wonderful game but he couldn't get the golden Belgians over the line and we've seen evidence of past foibles re-emerging. Although typically an early front runner collapses, Spain probably have more ways to win a game than most as they've got pace on the wings to get in behind, big lump up front to win headers and they can always revert back to passing teams to death. Spain to win.

If Romanians find the same pressure as they did with Ukraine, Netherlands will be dropped really hard. Romania against Belgium after minute 50' had the momentum and had VERY important chances but they didn't manage to score. I expect more passion for Romania vs Netherlands. At this point, I'm happy with Romania, win or loss. Call me crazy but I can see them qualify to the semis.
