@@nicoluca_11 seconded on Xenoblade X. There's not enough focus on how good that game was. The plot was weak but the gameplay was by far the best in any open world RPG ever or since. Once I unlocked overdrive (and looked up the wiki on the various ways on how to make overdrive last the entire fight), every other open world RPG just paled in comparison!

Just wanted to thank you guys for your support. I couldn’t give you guys a playthrough this time around. I decided to experience and savor the game on my own, since I've never had a chance to do it before with Xenoblade. I know a bunch of you were looking forward to another playthrough on KZbin, but I hope you guys understand my decision, and hopefully the effort and care I put in this animated video makes up for that. Flesh Eaters gain a permanent and more importantly mortal physical body, which means they can die without the destruction of their core crystal.

It's so fast and powerful it can heal wounds from Aegis Malos's destruction ability, attacks from the planet destroyer, Artifice Aion, and override Malos own defenses to give him blade cancer. If her core crystal isn't damaged she can use her healing ability to regenerate just as fast as a normal blade would.

I'm planning to stream the three games to friends at some point, and while I can happily skip all the sidequests in 1 and most of the ones in 2, 3's side quests are so plot-relevant and integral to character arcs I can't think of many I can skip, if any.. most of the less important ones are parts of chains

Quick tip that the game doesn't ever tell you: Take Triton to The City. Just do it. All of the Colony 15 quests are locked behind this one action, and I didn't even know it was a thing until post-game when I was just swapping around my Heroes in The City for a lark. Having a Quest Icon randomly show up after doing *EVERY SINGLE OTHER SIDE QUEST IN THE GAME, INCLUDING THE TWO POST-GAME HEROES,* was kind of a shock. Full stop, I put down my controller and started swearing until my throat could no longer make noises.

@Arin Jäger if you think about it, that dragon is likely a baby of avalanche abaasy. That superboss in xenoblade chronicles was the strongest in the game and was part of a sidequest involving the nopon archsage. You had to beat it for riki to become a heropon.

A couple things to point out (spoilers for lategame stuff) (please be enough room to hide everything) Valdi was never mentioned, but he is a good boy who just wants to build a friend. His class is Sharla but without the kill button, so protect the child pls. I kind of wish his massive quest chain to get Dorrick finished had more reward to it at the end, though. Shania comes back as Moebius and attacks the city. Ghondor punches the life out of her. Sena gets a class upgrade from this event. I don't know, either. You missed out on coverage of the post-credits scene, which is a continuation of the opening cutscene. Everyone is back to being kids again, living in their original worlds. Noah is called to by his familiar friends and starts to follow, only to get distracted by a very familiar sound: the Agnian off-seer melody. Good video, and I hope you enjoy the DLC.

God I still remember chapter 5, that damn line where mio was like "if I could do it again I'd just spend more time with my noah", and then i cried for like 10 minutes... And not like a little sniffley cry either, dawg I was straight up bawling and in pain😂. Then you get the actual context/plot element in chapter 6 that happens, and that made it somehow hurt EVEN WORSE. God I hated how chapter 5 completely crashed in on itself with the whole prison part being really dumb IMO, but MAN that's easily the most emotionally invested I've ever been in a game. Easily my fav xenoblade character now and honestly prob my 2nd fav Nintendo character just behind midna.

I’m glad you brought up how sus Riku is because he’s somehow the most mysterious character in the game after the credits roll. I’ve somehow convinced myself that Riku is Alvis from Xenoblade 1 reincarnated. It’d explain how Riku could know Melia, who’d been locked up for centuries. Plus, it’d explain how Riku got the plot-convenient sword Lucky Seven which has some interesting similarities to the Monado (aka Alvis).

The bath scene where no one reacts and later when the guys react to the gals changing.... It's speculated that this is a reference to Adam and Eve. The cast eat the forbidden fruit from the snake; the power of Ouroboros. They leave the Garden, their Colony and all they knew, and learned shame. People think that the Flame Clock suppresses sexual urges as they only react after being freed. The swearing is also a neat way to reflect world building. Snuff, spark, and ashes refer to the states of the Flame Clock. Naturally, snuff and ashes are bad and spark is similar. Calling people mudder may refer to colony ranking, where the lowest is dirt. So calling them garbage or worthless, essentially. Queen is obviously their version saying God. Some speculation I've heard on the side.

the sad thing about the punch that Mio pulls on Moebius O and P is that, she's most likely only able to do it because she no longer feels things through touch; which is foreshadowed at the scene on a camp before the fight, where she struggles to rehearse her tune because she's losing feel in her hands

My favourite classes to play are fiona, gray and Alex, but I also haven't rlly had the chance to mess around with nia or melia yet, those are just the ones I used in my playthrough and the ones that feel the best to me.

Lucky 7 + Capable Hands. Got it. I already beat all the super bosses thanks to the DLC hero class. I haven't used Noah as sword fighter for awhile since I've been trying to get all the classes to at least level 10. This was a great video by the way

Never went 100% on the other two but I fiended sidequests so hard in this game before beating the game because I didn't wanna be roo overleveled for anything that I'm basically already done with most non-postgame content, so might as well right? I am struggling with finding the way to complete nias memories and dorrik Phase 10 tho, but I'll figure it out. Also, this game has some of the best sidequests ever made, literally, the Zeon upgrade quest with kite and juniper and the spongey spuds is THE BEST sidequest I have played in my LIFE, it's so well set up the writing's on point, kite's character arc is so amazing and earned, kite and zeon have such a great dynamic and I am OBSESSED with the kite zeon juniper trio, I accually cannot stop talking about how much I love them and appreciate them and how much I want them to be together!

Thanks for making this video and giving me catharsis and a platform to voice some of my frustrations with this beautiful gem of a game! xD Will keep it brief, but the insane ending to chapter 5 DESTROYED me, the big revelation of Chapter 3 at Colony Ligma (or was it Lambda?) was a real point-of-no-return moment in the story for me, and the final boss battle is exactly what you describe it as: a 13 phase boss fight with unskippable cutscenes xD I ended up clearing it in my third try, after I had leveled my squad from lvl 72 to 74 and equip them with a bit more survivable kit, but there was no doubt I REALLY wished I could skip some of those cutscenes when I tried my second attempt out of sheer stubbornness xD In general, great recap and great animation, always a joy to watch your stuff dude!

I went into Xenoblade 3 with low expectations as to not be disappointed. Over 90 hours later, I've come out the other end with my girl scout cookies stolen, my car key'd, and one of my three braincells' virginity taken. In other words, it's a contender for my Game of the Year.

I wanted to comment for every chapter so here is what I have to say for all chapters Chapter 1: when you called him wild ride I was agreeing with the name then you mentioned the 8 ball and then I chuckled cause I never thought of it that way. Chapter 2: The moment I saw that imposter monkey I made an absolute decision to not allow myself to be killed by him at all so that when I kill him i would avenge Territorial Robart. Chapter 3: The moment you said you had unlocked Alexandria's class I was in absolute shock due to the fact that their levels were around 45. Then after this fact I realized that you would be bodying things for a good long while. Chapter 4: Ah yes getting past the superboss and uncovering the legendary weapon. Cammuravi definitely deserved more content (and Ethel as well cause when you get her back she doesn't get much besides being a selectable hero again) with how he was portrayed throughout the story. The reveal of Melia being a robot was a nice plot twist. Chapter 5: Unlocking the best class (this class is more broken then noah lucky seven and you can't convince me otherwise) in the game alongside one of the most fun classes of game. Triton is my favorite hero for sure and I like Fiona as well. THE PRISON: Those lads kinda of did just let us in and just let us waltz around everywhere in the prison without question the sudden increase in prisoners. Consul M caught me slacking once with how she took control of Taion who at the time had the incursor class on then before I knew it 3 of my party members were dead. That fight can be difficult until you figure out that you can just hit the controlled allies. Shania is a snake but not without reason. N was the most smug lad for a person who got saved by the gimmick and then tortured everyone so yeah it's of the better instances when smug villain loses their cool. Chapter 6: I agree with the decision of long hair Mio for the exact same reasons. The lads are back and tbh there's not too much to say about this chapter due to the main point of it being a fetch quest. supposedly Tora made origin is a scary thing to consider. All in all great story playthrough nice animation to go alongside the game and interesting decisions that were made and I enjoyed watch this hope to see more stuff like this on.

As a teenager Tora made a robot that began to learn human emotion and became the strongest character by creating the strongest blade in the game kinda makes sense on why he's the best engineer they had in the xenoblade 2 side

All jokes aside, great video, and great game, sank over 120 hours into it before the dlc with the challenges dropped, and just like you said, really like that they explore some darker themes - I mean even the certain character aging up wasn't completely out of nowhere, and has a weird sadness to it, as they just lose out on living those inbetween years (trying my best to be spoiler free)

I just finished the game after 120 hours and i only did the all the quests to do the ascencion quest and some postgame but was not as devoted as u but still, so much to do. I honestly found the side and hero quests to be better then the main story after chapter 5 though the ending was epic if very lengthy. Lets hope the expansion will show us what they are all up to after the seperation of worlds.

Honestly, playing on hard mode was really hard in the begining, but the more side quests you do, the more overleveld you'll be, which makes you basically invincible. I had no issues with any story fights past chapter 2. For the main story, you don't need to do anything but using ouroboros, since they are literally invincible, and have some skills that give them busted damage numbers (at least until post game). That said, unique monsters were really hard to beat early and mid- game, until I was able to get broken ouroboros. A lot of them have AOE moves that instakill your healers if you are not overleveled, or have specific buffs, which felt quite cheap.

So it is implied that the founder of House Vandham is either the son of or a decendant of M and N. It is then implied in Nia's post game quest that Mio is her duaghter with Rex. Thus all of house Vandham are decendants of Rex.

Okay, first of all, amazing video. The jokes all landed, especially Colony Ligma had me HOWLING. Second, I won't stand for any Tora slander, he made my favorite character in Xenoblade 2, for real. I don't care if he's a perv, he's a good bean. But yeah, this game was a phenomenal experience, from start to finish. And I would even go as far as to say it's peak fiction. I never thought there would be a game that could top NieR:Automata in terms of making my inner philosopher go wild, but here we are. Tl;dr 11/10, now that's something a bit meatier
