You can buy/pickpocket Cloud Giant Finger in Act 1 in the Myconid Colony after you achieve level 6 and then use Alchemy to make the Elixer of Cloud Giant Strength (otherwise, you have to wait until level 9 for merchants to start selling the Elixer).

Your work is so well done bro, but I wanted to comment on this one specifically because I appreciate the monoclass topic. I’m over 1,300 hours and completed honor mode more than 8 times, including 12 levels of arcane trickester and I love Pure Class builds. My favorite from the video was the moon druid, well done mate, cheers from Brazil

My first playthrough was a githyanki, pure fighter, evil durge, using all squid powers. I was absolutely amazed at the damage output in the endgame.

Halfling lore bard as the main character. They can heal, they can do support casting, they can do all of your lockpicking, they can do all of your dialog stuff. Now you have 3 party members to rotate through and all ANY of them need to do is damage.

It's hard to go wrong with 12 levels of paladin. Not as spicy as with warlock/sorc/bard multiclassing but always one of my favorite classes

I found paladin a very difficult solo. But right now I’m almost finished with a tactical solo Eldritch thrower fighter, and the only tricky part has been Myrkul

Love single level build. I’ve played around with eveyone playing the same class run through and it really shows you how fun and good the “less optimal” subclasses are or just switch game strategy

Love your moon druid. I'd say the same build more or less works really well for spore druid. Alternate Feats Weapon profiency for Longswords and Hand cross bows. -Lets you use the sword from the underdark which is one of the strongest force multipliers for lots of summons. (you can also do a clunky thing and swap from the shrieking sword for a staff and use the shilelagh reflect damage shield to get more shrieking sword proc on people who hit you). -hand crossbow lets you have two attack to take advantage of the spore druid bonus damage, while still having a shield. This i find better than the duel class options, as the summons are some of the strongest parts of spore druid and they only suffer by multi classing, while most of your druid spells on higher difficulty rely more on AOE effect or just flat out ignoring the down sides of spell DC.

My favorite single class are Lore Bard, Divination wizard (wow,those two dives reroll are fantastic), fighter battle master and Tempest cleric

You can actually combine the battle master with the light cleric's itemization. Use the shining staver-of-skulls (maybe combine with the knife of the undermountain king for extra crits) or the moonlight glaive in act 2 for your source of radiant damage. That also combos great with menacing attack's disadvantage, proccing the holy lance helm even more. Also want to shout out abjuration wizard as the party's defensive mage. The level 6 ability lets your ward protect allies and at the end of the day you're still a wizard

Love this! Here are some my favorite single class builds: Oathbringer Paladin - Get high strength and charisma, Great Weapon Master, Aura of Hate give you insanely strong melee attacks, even without smites. Top it off with Balduran's Giantslayer in the late game. Maybe not as powerful as some Paladin multiclass builds, but still strong enough to just erase enemies off the map. Storm Sorcerer - Love using Quickened Spell to cast Create Water, then blasting groups of enemies with lightning or cold spells. Pair with a tempest cleric for maximum mayhem. Warlock - Probably a very unpopular choice, but I actually have a lot of fun playing pure Warlock. Bladelock or full spellcaster, either way. Again, not as strong as some warlock multiclass builds but I actually think pure 'lock is more fun and interesting than some of those builds despite lacking their raw power. EDIT: just remembered another one. Wildheart Barbarian, the "blood and thunder" build. Like most melee builds it can benefit from 2 levels of fighter for action surge, but it's still quite effective if you stick with pure barbarian

I just finished a new honor mode run with a mostly monoclassed party. Dark Urge 12 Oathbreaker Paladin. Max CHA and Magic Initiate Druid feat at 4 for Shillelagh. Used Mourning Frost and later Markoheshkir. Aura of Hate (doubled up with arcane synergy circlet6 and Improved Divine Smite were great. Karlach as a 12 Wildheart Barbarian (Tiger heart, Wolverine and Tiger aspects). All the reverb gear and used Tiger cleave to bleed, maim and prone groups of enemies. Shadowheart as 3 Rogue Assassin / 9 Trickery cleric. My only multiclass this time. I needed a lockpicker/utility caster and had never used Trickery. Not super powerful, but Shar’s Spear was still great. Lae’zel as a 12 Fiend Warlock. She got sick of Vlaakith and got a crush on one of mizora’s buddies. She was my arcane acuity user since I used arcane synergy on Dark Urge. Auto up cast Command and Hold Person was insane. I liked her ability to use medium armor and one of the Gith swords as pact weapon. Great video. I liked your picks, but there are really good ones too from my experience.

Just to clarify I don’t think great weapon fighting style works the way described in the video, should just reroll your damage dice on a 1 or 2 and has nothing to do with hit chance (doesn’t make great weapon master penalise you less since it reduces hit chance not damage)

Moon Druid and spore Druid slap just putting all points into them. I ran a party with 3 druids and the lvl 6 elemental summon plus moon Druid as a elemental summon is just OP lol

@@Cal12517 I'm only level 5 rn for this I plan on keeping it pure. 2 Moon, 1 Spore, 1 Land. Tbh in act 3 it'll probably be better to go 3 Moon 1 Spore. Land doesn't give you much unique stuff and kinda slows you down. For my wet condition party I did 10 Moon 1 white dragon sorc (for armor of Agathis) and 1 War Cleric. That way I would have a level 6 spell slot to summon a water Myrmidon. If you don't care about level 6 Druid spells and are fine with an elemental instead of a myrmidon I'd go 10 Moon/2 Fighter.

Maybe a comment I make can finally get some traction with only 25 ahead of me. Maybe not too. Here goes: Has anyone considered the robe Wyll gets for killing Karlach for an open hand monk? It's pretty nice and boosts AC. I used it all the way up to and into Act III.

14:30 I think you're better off going with a 14 in strength with the +2 for a total of 16. You are spending 2 points to go from 14 to 15 which you could use those two points to not have a dump stat or to boost one of your other stats.

Great builds! I'm currently playing a draconic fire sorcerer and it's really fun. It's not the same as your build, but it is similar. Out of curiosity, how good would a pure War Domain Cleric be? I'm thinking about making one on the next playthrough, but i'm not set and i'm torn between that and a Light Domain Cleric.

Nice guides! Given that you’re not worried about the shocking grasp reaction for light cleric, why not take 15 CON plus the resilient CON feat instead of Warcaster? By the end of the game I think it’s marginally better against tougher save DCs, and it frees up stat points to get to 14 DEX or CHA! (Personally I’d aim for min 14 DEX, since good AC and initiative are the best defence against losing concentration anyway.)

Those are good. No argument there, but I find the Divination Wizard is amazing as a pure class. It can really own the battleground. I also prefer a Life Cleric for Shadowheart because with a few very easily acquired items she can keep your entire party buffed without using concentration while keeping Spirit Guardian up which as you say is a fantastic spell.

My first playthrough I didn't even realize you could multiclass or even change your class and played all the origin characters as their base class all the way to level 12 end game. Was it optimized? Probably not. Was it playable and could you beat the game with it? Sure! When I realized you could change your class and multclass in my second playthrough it opened up many more options. Especially when I realized just how awful Shart's Cleric Trickery domain is compared to the other domains like Light or Life.

Divination or evocation! I was going to include that but I didn't want it to seem like filler. Get spell sniper, war caster and one of the resistance feats and you're good!

Hey ItalianSpartacus at @40:04 Scorching Ray doesn't work with Metamagic - Twinned Spell. Scorching Ray is still just 3 rays instead of 4.

@@italianspartacusnot sure about twinned spell (waiting for patch 7 to drop before I reinstall the game) but you also mentioned using heighten spell with scorching ray and, if I’m reading heighten spell right, that wouldn’t work either. Heighten Spell only affects saving throw spells and Scorching Ray doesn’t have a saving throw.

A lot of misinformation around resilience and Druid it does not increase HP even if you increase your Con score because wildshapes have a set anount of HP. And you did not even mention Tavern Brawler for Druid which is the single best feat in the game for a Druid since the weapon wielding myrmidons are a little meh the earth one is the strongest by far, sure tavern brawler "only" adds to your accuracy in HM but it's still incredibly strong

get perma flame blade. for dw battle master. they hit harder than gwm. and you get them at lvl 3. then every 4 levels upgrade them. take savage attacker and elemental adept- fire. they hit so hard its stupid.

I'm not understanding how your sorcerer has 17 ac with those stats. looks like there is a shield in your equipment in the links below but how are we prof in shields? base 13+2 from dex should be 15. but yours shows 14, before taking draconic bloodline then suddenly you have 17. there has to be a shield involved here somehow and im just missing something i guess edit: after watching that section again you have 11 AC as soon as you start the build, with all stats at -1. so it HAS to be a shield. did you forget it was there maybe?

My most consistent high damage build is always Karlach as a throwing berserker.. even before she gets Nyrulna in Act 3. After that she's even more deadly.
