My FAVORITE Version Of Sweet Tooth | Twisted Metal BLACK

Mech Sweet Tooth is the sole reason I got into Twisted Metal as a kid. I was a huge transformers fan and my cousin told me the game had a truck that transformed into a crazy clown robot. That was enough for me to want to play it, and as soon as I did it just clicked. This has been one of my favourite videogames since.

Wow, a completely Roadkill-less run. I remember being amazed by the mech back in Lost when I first saw it. I like how one of the mechs arms is holding the icecream cone, as well as the head looking in the direction of the nearest opponent. There's a glitch with the special if you play in challenge mode where once you kill the last enemy while his special is still active and you hit Rematch he will still be in mech form playing the shooting animation. He'll stay like that until you activate his special weapon again.

Always thought this sweet mech was way cooler than 2012's. It left a hell of an impression on elementary school me when I first saw this game, it was like the coolest thing ever

I think that's because the mech version in Black is a lot more believable and has a very scary like slow transformation and is not hiding any of the well crafted parts and during it. But in 2012 the transformation is just too quick and is a cover for an obvious model swap you can tell. Cause of alll the extra bits like the giant engine and header pipes and feet and arms.

I think the mech special is fitting for Sweet Tooth in this game, in light of the secret that Minion has. Like, of course he'd be extra with his special. But that's just my thought on it.

Indeed! Uncle Sweetooth is the best.. him and any clown! 🤡 Clowns are the final boss! Add-on: Has anyone done a video on which CPU are most difficult to go against? That would be a cool deep dive.. or not idk lol. Great playthrough

I dunno if anyone mentioned this, but Downtown is very similar if not exactly the same as River Park Rumble in Twisted Metal 1! and sense this game takes place in Sweet Tooth's head, id imagine that in this is what Sweet Tooth was seeing while he was going through that level in Twisted Metal 1! basically everyone was seeing River Park Rumble, while Sweet Tooth saw Downtown!

Like the zoomy missiles the biggest part of the damage from sweet tooth's special is the bonus you get by hitting all of them. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but good ol' Needles' special can hit that bonus twice, if you hit all 20 missiles he shoots.
