John Morrison was the absolute MVP of SmackDown in 2009. bro had a banger with Edge right before the achilles injury, two bangers with CM Punk pre-heel turn where he straight up pinned the World Heavyweight Champion clean as a whistle both times, one of the best TV matches of all time vs. Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship five days after Jeff won the title at Night of Champions, and then there was that one match that was arguably even BETTER than the Jeff Hardy match where he beat Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
