He is better but he is not fixed since he still struggles much more against ana/zen than any other tank.

The reduced damage reduction makes him much more killable

spilo almost always has some issue with all of the reworks. I think they really nailed his rework, they made him more fun to play, more viable and have more depth. Numbers can be changed but kit's great. And i know that ana destroys him but i think that counters should be a thing, you can swap midgame anyways. Pharah counters junkrat too but nobody complains about that either, it's overwatch you can swap midgame.

@@d00mnoodle62IMO theory crafting and getting a quick read on new changes aren’t Spilo’s forte at all. He’s a very good coach, and he has lots of nuanced and insightful things to say when he’s had a chance to experience changes in context for a while, but his first-impression tales are very reactionary IMO. Being a full-time content creator demands that he weigh in, so I don’t blame him for doing so. But like… the man actually complained that Brig’s Rally rework-which gave her shield bash stun back, in stronger form than her OW1 stunning bash-reduced her playmaking potential. I just can’t take his first impressions seriously after that.

@@d00mnoodle62 Maybe you're right, I did see Hog performing pretty well in my games. He's atleast really fun to play with the changes. Spilo does understand the game pretty well but I agree he may have jumped the gun on this one and so did I.

There really is not much margin for error playing hog in GM, you get hooked and you're as good as dead.

I feel like the hog duel is kind of boring. You pull the enemy hog into your team, Ana nades, and he's dead. You have to have a LW to pull him out. I hate when OW forces players to select certain heroes based on what your teammates play.

That’s literally just called “Team compositions”. Some characters are better with others and worse with others, it’s how the game is. Hence why Dive, Brawl, Poke exist.
