So fun fact Arch Enemy is a Swedish band started in 1995. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow in 2000s she left the band in 2014 and took on the position as the group's manager and was replaced by Montreal Canadian vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. 😊❤

2:58 - I gotta say: The look on your face when Alissa started singing totally made this reaction for me. Like the rug in The Big Lebowski, it really tied the room together. And if you might be up for checking out more Arch Enemy, I can vouch for “Nemesis” (live at Wacken 2016) and “The World Is Yours”-and those are just two among many others! And just as a preemptive heads-up: If you might like to pronounce “Wacken” like the locals, one would say “Vah-ken.” (In German, “W” is pronounced like a “V” is in English.) I’m only mentioning that part just since most folks seem to stumble over that one a bit.

This band is one of my favorites to see live! They are top notch, guitarists are on point. The blonde hair guy is probably top 10 guitarists in the world. The lead singer also costumes up at shows too!

She's actually the 2nd vocalists Angela the original was a beast vocalist she passed the torch to Ms.Gluz if correct Angela manages the band now as seeing Gluz was a very compatible replacement Arch Enemy formed in 1995... But yeah great upload you should definitely check out early stuff from Angela when she was the active vocalist and check out Gluz's original band The Agonist which has a new blonde bombshell singer not to mention The Agonist is a Canadian group......🤘😎🤘

I found Arch enemy through her old band The Agonist. She is great but the best thing about Arch Enemy are, if I’m not mistaken, the brothers guitarist. They create great duelling guitar riffs and solos. 🤘

a really underrated arch enemy song is "first day in hell" which is based on the stories her grandparents told her about how they were in concentration camps as kids. also Dreams of Retribution. It has a greeeaaaaaat start. War Eternal is arguably their most popular song with this lead singer.

The best part of this reaction, to me, was ‘The power in her voice!’- AWG is dope, plus she really put the female guttural growl out in the mainstream way back in the days of MTV Made, where she coached another woman to produce these vocal qualities

Nice reaction dude! 👌 If you want some really awesome guitar riffs and solos from Arch E songs like Nemesis, Bloodstained Cross, No More Regrets, Blood is on your hands and Ravenous are highly recomended among other songs. Their 2 guitarists (Jeff Loomis and Michael Amott) are very skilled. If you want some live materiel from them i suggest Tokyo 2008 or Wacken 2016! Their former singer Angela Gossow is an icon and has an even more powerful voice then the current one.

you have to know that this is a specially song, normal arch enemy songs are more metal style, faster and often heavier, with more and darker lyrics, but this is definetly great!
