Making me remember the time where I've watched the anime till the beginning of Tartaros arc because a goat uploaded the episodes on KZbin, but then I saw a thumbnail with "FairyTail episode 1" and remembered that I have never watched the beginning of the show XD Like I literaly watched till Tartaros but only started with Heaven's Tower.

What I love about Natsu in this episode is that he's not mad about someone impersonating him he's mad about someone trying to hurt his guild.

Fairy Tail is hella nostalgic, I already know these reactions are gonna be funny! The OSTs and most openings and endings are dope and there are some really hype moments. It's enjoyable for the most part, but micro elements of each story arcs let down the overall story. It'll be interesting to see what you think...as you said something about long running anime just hits different!

Man I love this show and you had a great reaction to match it. Fairy tail gets a bit hammy and people love to mock it but overall it's a enjoyable ride to be on. Just don't expect it to be all serious and dark like Naruto is since this anime fully embraces friendship magic 😆

Fairy tail is one of these shows with really high highs but also really low lows I would say tho that fairy tail is great when it comes to raw emotion but not as good in terms of how every arc or conflict is resolved imo

I wouldn’t say every arc is like that, but the more notable ones would be the big ones like the GMG arc and the Tartaros arc, but in a way it’s not a super big deal because FT is always continuous so there’s no need for a fine line where a arc ends.

how they resolved tenrou arc by sealing themselves and then a time skip after that is actually great and prolly the best resolution of an arc in the series

My favorite things about episode 1: 1. Natsu never hears Lucy say she wants to join Fairy Tail specifically yet somehow knows this at the end of the episode. 2. Natsu leaves the city (full of civilian property) burning despite just showing that he can suck all the flames in and eat them. He and Lucy run away laughing while the civilians lose their homes and possibly die. (Natsu was clearly strong enough to dominate the battle, yet he chose to take the fight to the city despite being safely at the harbour first.) 3. The music.

1 natsu can't eat his own flames so he couldn't stop the fire he caused second the purple dude I forget his name was flying round so natsu was chasing him n they happened to end up in the city

@@soldierboy1875 He actually CAN'T eat his own flame or there's no POINT in eating his own fire? Because that's how I remember it, could be wrong though. Though I do question, if the city is already burning from Boras and Natsus fire attacks and the fire is already spreading, how are those NOT flames that Natsu could eat. Say Natsu made a flame the size of a candle flame that then spreads into a house fire. Natsu: NOPE! CAN'T DO IT!

@@soldierboy1875 Makarov got angry? Episode 2 says otherwise. Fairy Tail is canonically comparable to a dark guild yet it isn't branded as one because they are "the good guys". I'm pretty sure that Fairy Tail does more harm than some of the actual antagonists in the series.

since I see some people keep saying switch to dub then Im also gonna say this Please stay on sub ,since Fairy tail has the best Japanese cast they have Gojo's VA who's playing Gray and soon you will meet Julius novachrono's VA and Gaara's VA also they have Hisoka and Eustass Kid's VA who's playing Siegrain ,Jellal and Mystogan and they also have the VA of Tengen and Daki ,tengen's VA is the one voicing Laxus and Daki's VA is the one voicing Ultear ,Ur and Virgo you will also meet Zenitsu's VA and I'll tell you Luffy and Natsu's (Igneel) father has the same VA and Kakashi's VA is also there not to mention they also have Aizen's VA and ofcourse you will also meet Nanami's VA in the future and Eren's VA is the one voicing Lyon they also have Yami and Sukuna's VA and many more all of them literally did their best until the final season you can literally feel the emotion on their voice Also btw Lucy, Natsu and Wendy's VA is a singer and Natsu's VA is the one who sang the opening of the OVA ep 1,2,3 and for the ending it's Lucy's VA which is kinda cool imo hope you guys also watch the OVA's and Lucy's VA is also the one who sang the ending song of the FT movie 1 and it's a beautiful song together with the movie

No, she is not strong this actually her first time using magic in battle, so she is the definition of a newbie! But she is interesting to watch, you know to see what she will be, she is a good-hearted, determined and talented girl who needs a push. You just need to be positive and open-hearted with her to see her beauty, because she is one of the most underrated, misunderstood and mistreated characters (in the anime world by both the writer and viewers). She is similar to Nami but in a way kinder. People say she is like Sakura, but there is nothing similar between them, redhead woman is the one who resembles Sakura. However, I would not watch fairy tail again.
