Short trips here are bad especially when they show you $3.30-$5.50 upfront to drive 6-9 miles! Long trips are also not worth it because the dead miles. Uber here takes 54-73% from drivers. It snowed here last week and I did one ride for $21 driving 10 miles using it to drive towards home, but Uber fleeced the rider by charging them $82 for that! The rider complained, but I couldn't say anything because I don't set the rates, NO TIP either because he paid so much. They certainly taking advantage of the bad weather. There was no surge for drivers, but obviously they have a rider paying a secret surge. They need go back to a mileage/rate card!

I have a feeling you guys in mandated markets are basically just getting money from what non-manded markets would get. I verified with a rider today that I am only getting 47-50% of a ride. 13 miles long she pays $14.50 and I get $7.07 (with a $2.25 Lyft bonus at that) It's so discouraging to see.

I decline so many rides in the $.50/ mile range it's stupid. But i try and look at the offer per ride and I don't worry what the take rate is.

Well, I hope someone doesn’t see this video and then move up to Minnesota from out of state to drive in the middle of winter. They would definitely be in for a shock. But come April it will be interesting to see if these changes do change the dynamics of the market at all.

Congrats, they took it out on the rest of country. I now get 6-8 dollars offers for airport trips co.pared to the 11-16 per trip i was getting. As I stated from the start. They will take this out on the rest of the country.

Uber and Lyft are burying themselves, little by little something better will come, there is no profit for the expenses, they take more than 80%, they charge the Rider super high and present a handout to the driver

This happened in Massachusetts. All the out of state drivers come here to make $32.59/hr. Now there are no offers for hours sometimes.

Hello sir I'm from California do you know any difference of lyft Uber because from what I know it's gotten worse especially with Uber I mean Uber used to be on top of the food chain and now Uber is like gone downhill since last year lyft has been more with better pay but if you're asking me Lyft and Uber are going downhill little by little out here in California but if you have some more knowledge and information because you seem like a very knowledgeable person could you break down some information from California I know you're in Minnesota and with all that being said drivers continue to cherry pick❤

@@ronn4073 I have made key sacrifices in life that affords me the FREEDOM to do what ever the F I want to pass the time and to pay what few little bills that I do have...setting up at least 1 additional "passive" stream of income helps and having a smidge of talent trading stocks helps also.

I always blame driver for taking shit rides easy and simple if you want to make accept rides that make sense , decline all garbage rides and u will make from 25 to 30 $ an hour
