My #1 tip: Treat the first day like the rest of the year so nobody expects much, if they don’t expect anything you can show them how awesome you are! If they expect you to be awesome they won’t think you’re as awesome as they expect you to be!

high school was a solid 10/10, but I'm a Gen X or is it Gen Z? We didn't have social media, we were a product of the 90's and we just played and had a great time. Very few bullies, we had better things to do. Lots of hobbies, sports, social clubs. No one lived online, we actually lived life. We listened to music and drank cheap alcohol. I can now say we're all grown and successful. Living well and having fun is a recipe for a great life. Ignore any haters and live well!

So my high school was way worse than this, if anything the issue i had was that I was embarrassed in all four years, basically I was embarrassed so much and I’ve carried so much hate for my councilors and teachers but especially for those who I thought were my friends. I straight up gave up on making friends by sophomore year, got severely bullied constantly, and was dealing with illnesses that people didn't believe I had or didn't understand. I did end up marrying my high school sweetheart, but I didn't go to school with him, so I'm not counting him towards it.

It has nothing to do with going to the same school, just dating through the majority of the high school years of both people. We started dating when we were both sophomores, and stayed together through high school, getting married afterwards.

I would say high school is different every year and in my freshmen year it was the best year and I changed alot as a person and I had friends that I loved but the second year of high school was really hard like I was surfing from alot of depression and anxiety and all my favorite friends left me. But i had new friends and a Friend that I really liked there was ups and down in my second year but it was fairly good. I used to have a lot of guy friends in my second year. My grade 11 year was stressful but I had good friends and my junior year was so smooth.
