What a feast! I haven't heard this piece by Mozart in many years - to be honest, it's not his most sublime work - it does the job, but it's well below his best. The house is coming on well. It's going to very energy-efficient - no bad thing nowadays - my stone-built house is over 200 years old and is rather difficult to heat. There's not really any cavity in the walls and barely any foundations. We stick to heating the person rather than the room. Is your glass wall south-facing? If so, I can see possibilities for your sloping roof and photo-voltaic panels.
@lignumchannel2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Nicole!:) I wonder sometimes what would Mozart say about me using his work as music for my videos hehe.. Yes it faces south and as sun goes down as winter approaches, it heats the interior more and more during sunny days. Even now without all the glass doors and front doors installed, there is noticeable difference when yo walk in in the chilly morning. PV will have to wait a year or two until I financially recover a bit..
@nicolek40762 жыл бұрын
@@lignumchannel Mozart was one of the first composers who did not rely on a patron to keep his family fed. He lived by his wits and the quality of his work which was reflected in the amount of it that was played in concert halls. Are you not concerned about the heat-bridges due to the metall parts sticking though the insulation? They will conduct warmth from inside right to the outside, and the other way around. The rubber will not stop them from having condensation at their base and within the wall.
@lignumchannel2 жыл бұрын
Yes I am a bit, I must admit. Although the part sticking out will be surrounded by wooden verticals so it won't be in direct contact with cold air. I guess I will have to wait and see how it will behave. I saw multiple buildings with similar solution being build over the last decade and there are no problems so far. Hopefully it will stay this way.
@jumbleblue2 жыл бұрын
By the way. In the simulation you can add beams within the insulation and their material and dimensions. You probably have to choose a overly wide distance of them to accomodate that you do not have continous beams and match the final metal area per m2.

Most of all, il like your attention to the technical details and how you fabricate and customize a lot of the materials. What kind of climate you have overthere? Seeing how much effort you put in isolation, the climate is different from what i thought it was. Do you have cold winters?
