I would cut her some slack. He was around her as an adult since she was 10 and jumped right on that once she was legal. He definitely groomed her. I am willing to bet that she's dealing with some trauma around that that she doesn't even recognize. A lot of people who have been groomed develop this idea that their only worth lies in being sexually available (because that's what groomers raise them to provide). Not saying OP needs to forgive and let her in, because no - OP deserves to tend to their own trauma and to get a fresh start. But everything within me recoils from judging Abby for any of her sexual history, because I just... I stone cold do not believe that this comes from just a malicious attitude. Girl has her own shit she needs to start dealing with.

Frienemies are stupid. They start as your friend and then flip the script when you do/become someone worthy of their insane anger. Had this happen to me, I became 'competition' as she was big ol' whore face. Which was dumb since I'm ace (I didn't know it then but yeah) but still cute as hell and menfolk liked me(though I question if it was more than her since she actually put out). She really wanted to ruin me in the end, spreading lies to friends I INTRODUCED TO HER but none of them believed it, well most didn't, the ones that mattered. Spiteful, petty shit like this is just a sign of insecurities that go beyond reddit pay rate. Chick needs help. And a nice time out in a jail cell to cool her dumbass down. I do want to clarify, I'm absolutely slut shaming my ex friend, I'll freely admit that. Not saying hoe-ing is inherently bad and wrong. Hoe to y'all delight, just be safe and ethical. She was the type to weaponize tang for her own gain and used that gain to ruin(financially, emotionally and socially)men she ensnared and would get bored of. Hard to believe, I know, but she was just that broken of a person. I'd feel pity if I didn't still kinda want to see her house burn down along with every expense thing she conned people to get her with it.

And she had to guess that she'd probably get in trouble because nobody is going to take being forcibly balded lying down. So in the end, she'd have gotten what she wanted anyways. She wanted op to be balded. So telling her it worked will only make her happy. I know it's better for OP to just hit the block button on all of them, but I would've emailed the sister back with the email the ex sent her, as well as a note about how "bold of you to think I'd let you be anywhere near my family... given your history, you'd probably try to f**k my husband (again) and try to play mommy with my baby for good measure. Go back to hitting the crackpipe you deluded twit." And I would've told the mom to f**k off and that she isn't getting a grandchild because she doesn't have OP as a daughter. She's been gone since you decided to side with the affair partner sibling. And grooming or not, the sister IS NOT a victim in this. She's selfish and self-centered and clearly delusional if she thinks she gets to be the cool aunt.

Story 1: she shouldn’t have replied to the email. She should have deleted it and forgotten about it. He’s looking for sympathy and attention. Replying is giving attention, doesn’t matter that it’s not positive. He got a thrill that she still cared enough to bother replying. Remember: responding to toxic people will never give you closure. The best medicine is to ignore them. If you absolutely must send a reply to tell someone to never contact you, keep it brief and impersonal. “Don’t contact me.” Period. Don’t include anything about how they impacted you or ruined your life. They don’t care. You won’t get closure from telling them what an awful person they are.

Nair chemically burned my legs so bad I ended up in the ER. I don't want to even imagine that on someone's scalp. Just found the update for story 2. Apparently, the girl who put nair in the conditioner went to her parents' place to hide, so when the police turned up, her parents heard about it and were pissed. The cops apparently said that because it was only attempted assult that she wasnt getting arrested, but then she hit one of the cops and was arrested anyway 😂 according to the update OP doesn't know what led up to hitting the cop, but they said that everyone that they've spoken to about this friend has no clue what's been going on with her either.
