What if he’s conflict avoidant and his family/ friends enjoy creating drama for fun? Or, another problem I face is family members not accepting me even though they don’t know me well or even at all? If they’re disrespectful to me he will reframe the story and expect me it just believe it. But I feel disrespected and like I’m abandoning myself.

I recognize the outer conditions that bother us as prods to fix ourselves, not something that needss to be fixed. We are obligated to behave but not worry about other's behaviors. You cannot change others, only yourself

If you have children you are obligated to heal your marriage as best as you can and our course will guide you. If not, then you must choose what is best for you.

Hmmm, this may apply to some marriages but there are other reasons why this happens. There is such a thing as controlling parents. Passive aggressive controlling parents that have an invisible umbilical cord attached to their son. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good of a wife one is. There is such a thing as enabling parents and then the son grows up with unhealthy habits sure to the lack of proper parenting. Then the son Kings for a wife that has high standards. Yeah that's great but then when he gets a wife that has high standard he struggles to live up to the same standards because he likes practicing his enabling habits he learned from his childhood. Wifes arent the problem to everything and it takes 2 to make a marriage work. God bless.

In simplest form, learn to love unconditionally and don't worry about how your husband behaves. Don't take his bad behaviors personally

Me too, his family members are quite cold and mean to me so its hard for me to accept that he is ok with that 🤕
