While the people around me tell me that wearing less is empowering, I've always thought that the opposite works better for me. Born muslims also have a great deal of pressure and not enough support ..sometimes more support is given to reverts ... Let's not try and make this statement of reverts being better than born muslims.. I have seen how detrimental this statement in practicality has been for born muslims ...they loose support and faith as many are stuck fighting cultural practices and reverts are usung there support and knowledge to elevate themselves as individuals place them above born muslims .. We are all the same ..maybe born muslims arent getting the support by the community ... AlI am saying no one is better than anyone a non Arab with a Arab...a hijabi with non hijabi , a revert and a born muslim ..let's not put everone in one basket . I know of indiviidual reverts who are blessed with learning knowledge ridicule born muslim sisters ..its not nice ..these sisters need help too May Allah azawajal guide us all .. ameen

@Jomy Mathew A very important thing to remember is that the Quran is the Word of God revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) through the Angel Gabriel who is the Archangel responsible for sending messages from God to His Prophets: Whereas the Ahadith are witnessed accounts by the original Sahaba/Disciples of how Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) implemented the practice of the Quran on his life. The Qur'an is absolutely authentic and we still have the original whereas the Ahadith are the words of man and not of God. An excellent example of this is in the Bible itself. Most of the Bible is an account written by men of the history or experiences of the people of the Book. But, towards the end of the Old Testament there are books written by Prophets such as Isaiah and Micah (peace be upon them all) which people are confused by and scholars have lengthy debates and arguments about because they do not have Ahadith explaining why they wrote what they did and in what context were the words used or even if these words were their own or the Words of God delivered by Gabriel (peace be upon him). This also explains the confusion in the New Testament about the events around the reported betrayal and death of Jesus (peace be upon him). The subsequent Books were also Ahadith . But looking at what you are referring to makes me want to explain to you the history surrounding the event of God Sending Jesus (peace be upon him) to His people at that time and date. The Middle East was a strategic area for the Romans who had conquered a vast area of not only Europe but also North Africa at that time. These invaders were feeling the heavy burden of having to feed and furnish all their conquered kingdoms. North Africa at that time was not as dry and barron as it is today. It contained vast swathes of fertile grain rich estate. But Rome has one quirky problem. Despite their reputation as a great and mighty force they were terrified of sea travel. They were used to armies which built roads and fortresses. For them there was no option: the grain they needed to support the Roman citizens travelled by land and that narrow neck in the Middle East was vital. So they broke up the area into 10 states who were ruled by puppet governments. King Herod' s father was not Hebrew he was Nabataen and by the time Herod the Great came into power even the Rabbis were either under his influence or members of his family. At that time because of the sack and destruction of the temple in Jerusalem by not only the Romans but others prior to the Romans the Torah had been lost and the words of the Torah which gave the full unsullied Law given to Moses (peace be upon him) had been forgotten. It was at this time Herod got scholars together to write the Laws which the Children of Israel were supposed to live by. This was the birth of the Talmud. This document turned out over 600 more laws which could not have been in the original because they were absolutely wicked. Herod forced the citizens to obey these laws. Every Prophet has been sent by God for a definite purpose at the time. Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent to inform and teach the Children of Israel what the True Laws were supposed to be. Remember he said I ha've not come here to do away with the law. I have been fascinated with comparing the stories of the Prophets between the Bible and the Quran. These Books do not contradict each other but together they embroider a much bigger and fuller picture. The Qur'an says that when Mary (peace be upon her) was expecting Jesus (peace be upon him) God Blew His Word into her belly. This means that Jesus (peace be upon him) knew the Laws before he was even born. The Quran says that Jesus (peace be upon him) could even talk as a baby and when people gathered together and angrily wanted to condemn his mother he told them that it was not her fault and that he was a Prophet of God. In the New Testament it describes how Jesus (peace be upon him) went missing and when his mother found him and shouted at him he said that he was busy with his work. Jesus (peace be upon him) was teaching the scholars and rabbis in the temple what the True Laws of God were supposed to be. But of course he had enemies for one Herod did not like the Talmud being questioned and the Romans did not like this 'New upstart' causing unrest in an important part of their convencing methodology. That is why Jesus (peace be upon him) never had a pillow to rest his head only a hard stone. Bearing this in mind it is evident that Jesus's (peace be upon him) situation was as unique to the situation as the various other prominent prophets. Before he was even born he had divine intervention. From the time he was born and even as a young child he could speak with clear authority what the True Law of God was. So his protection was absolutely necessary for the completion of the task before him. He was born and lived his entire life with The Word of God in his mouth. I believe this Ahadith refers to that.
@lameesahmad91664 жыл бұрын
@Jomy Mathew I am told in the Qur'an not to continue an argument with someone about religion. So I will put my last point to you. As I explained to you the scriptures which you are quoting are Ahadith. Not even the genuine words from Jesus (peace be upon him) himself. They are given by someone else after the fact. Even most of the Christians still believe that God is the Alpha and Omega the Beginning and the End. He Is Omnipresent and Omniscient and Omnipotent. He Is Absolute. Look up the meaning of Absolution and you will see that it can only come from the Absolute. What a contradiction. Also finally please find the words Holy Spirit in the Bible. We are told in Islam not to down anyone's belief in front of them even if they are pagan. Because they may take offence and curse at your God which is a grievous sin. We believe in the same God but I do not like your teachings and I will never follow them. But I respect you and wish you well. With that I greet you with the greeting of Salaam which is the same as the Hebrew greeting of Shalom meaning Peace to you. Best Wishes

Alhamdulillah Sister hasten towards Allah We all carry a backpack with us on the journey. Some people fill it with good, some with bad deeds and some dont even fill it. Of course a heavy backpack is a burden on the way But when they open and fill the sclae with it you will realize how important every little deed was Subhanallah the prophet tells us that the jihad for a man is to fight for allahs cause (of course in context please no ripping apart of that statement) and for the woman the equal would be to cover herself up How comes? How heavy will it be in the scale I encourage every sister to wear the hijab and have deep respect for those who wear it Salamu alaykum

@faridak21944 жыл бұрын
I think sometimes men and women get annoyed at niqabi women because they arent getting a free show. Because like the sister says she is in control of what she shows and that annoys others. People dont like women who are in control and strong minded and dont give a damn what others think. They are annoyed at the fact that the covered up women arent being brainwashed to follow the 'be liberal ' definition. These women chose to define liberty differently to the masses. And it makes some annoyed and others jealous that they have the strength to make their own decisions of what they look like. By the way face coverings existed before Islam in many many countries across the world as did long modest dresses and head coverings. Think about the traditions of the white wedding veil and the black widow veil at funerals. Look back at the dress code of women in the west just over 100 years ago.
@sandramansfield2554 жыл бұрын
I have to admit when i was young I felt sorry for women I saw wearing the niqab but not the hijab. Nuns wear a head covering so to me that made sence. I thought it was forced onto them by the laws of there countries. or society. I had no idea as I got older and researched and read and watched first hand accounts of women who CHOSE to wear this and why they chose to wear it. I realized how much closer it brought them to God. How fulfilled they were. I am a revert. sadly not a very good one. I'm still learning and I am guilty of staring at Muslim women wishing I knew all that they know being that they were born and raised in Islam. and when I see them see me looking at them I hope they don't think I'm looking for the wrong reason. and I never have the nerve to talk with them.

*That is the problem of some Arab men or parents who encourage their wives or daughters to remove hijab because of going to Europe. I've got many friends who were covered and now they're in America and Europe hijab less. Many we see them in their KZbin channels. There's also a huge family who were from Yemen and they settled in Korea the whole family removed hijab and they have even appeared in a Korean channel proudly saying they're happy. I PRAY to Allah to guide us all* 😓😢

The part of the video where it shows a doctor putting on rubber gloves could be misleading to some viewers, who do not know what kind of gloves the sister is talking about. The sister is not talking about rubber medical gloves, the sister is talking about fabric gloves that sisters wear to cover their hands.

Loving God has nothing to do with what you wear, it’s between your heart and Gods heart- praying at specific times of the day won’t save you, it’s if you think of God first in everything you do. I’m often praying continuously during the day, my morning prayers and evening prayers are a personal matter, between God and me. I’ve always been a modest dresser, and I do not fear other people or what they say, because I know that God walks beside me.

Islam came when women used to reveal their bodies and commanded women to cover, so being backwards is to reveal the body not covering it. Am a Christian Catholic and quite disappointed with a few Christians here giving negative comments. As Catholics we often wear our rosary around our neck or in form of a ring or bracelet. It’s not necessary but it helps us stay connected with God and is a constant reminder. I feel like it the same concept with the hijab. It’s not necessary but if it draws you closer to God why not!!

Today much emphasis is put on women's liberation. Such a movement has done the greatest injustice towards them. Islam is the greatest woman's lib movement on earth. It taught women who they are. It gave value to motherhood. It says the lap of the mother is the best school. Behind every great man There is a woman. Be she a mother or a wife. That is why the Prophet said: Paradise lies below the feet of mothers. The mother is the best teacher. She is the guardian of society. If she is well educated she will produce the best of mankind. Today she has been made into an object. Her asset is her body not her intellect. She has been put on the level of cattle. Her value is based on her flesh. Today she is judged by how much of men's gaze she attracts. This determines her celebrity. Her status depends upon how much of herself she can expose. In Islam woman is a precious gem that has to be safeguarded. She is the guardian of society to be looked up with respect Not as an object to be coveted. Women have never been prophets but the women of this ummah have been selected for the work of prophets like Khadijah RA, Fatima binte Rasul SAW, Fatimah binte Khattab RA, Umme Harram RA etc. What an honour and status! One of the most interesting thing in Islam is that a woman does not not lose her identity when she gets married. She remains who she was. She does not change her surname to that of her husband as is usually done in other so-called western civilised countries.

Surat Luqman 31:14-15 In other words, even if our parents wage jihad (jaahada) against us to make us worship idols, we should not obey them in this particular matter but we should still accompany them kindly and obey them in reasonable matters. We don't have to obey the husband if he goes against Islam, but we still accompany with them kindly.

youdont need to knowme having gheerah towards your women in islam is the straight path! Know that the one who isnt is a dayouth. Narrated Al-Mughira: Sa`d bin 'Ubada said, "If I saw a man with my wife, I would strike him (behead him) with the blade of my sword." This news reached Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who then said, "You people are astonished at Sa`d's Ghira. By Allah, I have more Ghira than he, and Allah has more Ghira than I, and because of Allah's Ghira, He has made unlawful Shameful deeds and sins (illegal sexual intercourse etc.) done in open and in secret. And there is none who likes that the people should repent to Him and beg His pardon than Allah, and for this reason He sent the warners and the givers of good news. And there is none who likes to be praised more than Allah does, and for this reason, Allah promised to grant Paradise (to the doers of good)." `Abdul Malik said, "No person has more Ghira than Allah." - Sahih Al Bukhari, Book 97, hadith 44
