@@melikeskalico3812to some extent it still carries similar energy, because even though he had the paternity test done behind her back, he still believed she was cheating based on nothing other than his doubts, and still tried to con her into admitting to it via email. I unfortunately can somewhat understand the level of betrayal and extreme distress she felt. I had a miscarriage with an ex, immediately afterwards he told me he couldn’t let me around his other children I’d been helping to raise for a year cuz he needed to protect them from me. Basically accusing me of having miscarried on purpose somehow just to hurt him and I was now a danger to children. Going through the pain and hormone changes at that time was horrendous enough, but adding the baby’s father being an evil abusive gaslighter was enough to send me over the edge into several suicide attempts. There’s so many Reddit reads where a woman is being harassed or abused by the father during or after birth. Pregnancy and birth is a traumatic event to go through, and the hormone changes put you in a very vulnerable mental state. OP will have to carry that trauma the rest of her life, and won’t be able to look back at the birth of her son without reliving the betrayal.

Story 2 is just depressing.. The fact that people can just lie about sexual abuse to protect themselves is one of the reason our would sucks as much as it does.
@wimsylogic65
@wimsylogic65 Жыл бұрын
Not just to protect themselves so many people just lie about being abused. And then some of them end up believing their own lies. Or twisting situations around and deceiving that they were abused when they weren't. Such as having a one night stand they regretted. But even Some pretty messed up kids also lie about being abused. Had a six-year-old Neighbor Go out of his way over to me , Ask me a question so I'd stop my yard work to look at him. And then he just dropped his pants and started peeing in front Of me. I had a potty training little kid at the time so I'm I'm used to that stuff. I just turned around and told the kid that Going pee is private matters. Not we have to keep private things private. That means you do not pee in front of other people. I told me needs to go back into his house to use the bathroom or to go hide behind a tree to go pee. I told him that you don't show other people your privates. And then went up to his grandmother who had custody, And I told her what happened and what I told him. And then I laughed it off thinking little kids and boys. Then I was taken aback as the grandmother yelled at the little kid saying if he did it again she'd rip his peepy off. I spoke up and I said that's not necessary we just have to reinforce they needs to use the bathroom or to keep this stuff private. It's not a problem we just have to keep reminding him. A few days later. I learned that when the boy went to talk to his case manager. He told the manager that I randomly went up to him to watch him go pee. And that I let my kids run around naked outside all the time. I don't. But I had a three-year-old girl Who was in the thick of potty training and liked to take off her clothes and Run off. Yeah they've seen her In her underwear outside, But I was Also there chasing her to get pack inside and put clothes on. It didn't happen all the time. For every once in a while, She got loose. Most often when I was trying to use the bathroom. Thankfully she's grown out of that. Also thankfully That six-year-old kid also admitted to lying about me. But I hate to think what would have happened if I didn't tell a grandmother what happened. Or if she played along and went with the kids lies. That kid is also known for habitual Compulsive liar. Which really sucks because some things that happen to him are not a lie and people have troubled distinguishing the difference. Those kids were definitely emotionally abused if not physically. There were 3 of those boys 6 to 9. Last year they set themselves on fire, That's how the grandmother got custody for awhile. The poor middle child is on the spectrum and was deaf for a bit so he lacks social communications. 8 years old he was suicidal. His younger brother and older brother are like sociopath psychopath. They've been on medication since really little. The six-year-old supposedly has schizophrenia. The 9 year old, Is just like That old movie Mccolley colkins the good son. I tell you it's horrifying seeing children that Almost like they don't have a soul. Before I Intervened, I witnessed the oldest brother beating on his little brothers, The pure happiness on his face while he was causing that pain was horrifying. Like the kid you look at him and he feels empty except for when hes causing hurt then you see emotions that look real, And it looks like hes euphoric about it. So creepy. One day, He looked at me like he was some kind of animatonic doll, Give me this weird dazed smile, He was like I'm a new happy pills now. My brain still can't fathom that all this stuff happened for real. Oh and weren't just my neighbors they were my landlord's grand kids. The youngest one and the oldest 1 I sense are broken beyond repair but you never know. I feel bad for them but I feel like they've already been infected by evil. My heart mostly goes out to the middle child. The youngest and oldest have enjoyment in causing harm. The middle one All I ever seen from him is just pure suffering. I like him, He was sweet. Yeah he had a lot of emotional outbursts but I think that they were perfectly perfectly reasonable. He just needed someone with patience, And calmness. Poor kid. They're back to being with their mom now. Their grandmother was good for them for a while, But eventually she got broken down, And she became Unstable and abusive Emotionally to the kids. I have nothing good to say about their mother. She's the only person I've ever wanted to punch in the face. Anger is a weird feeling that not used to. When are six-year-old kept on running in front of the lawn mower, We brought it up to the mother and she told us just to ignore him. She yelled at my child for Not wanting to play with her kids That morning before going on the bus. Her kids who threatened to kill you for not doing what they want. They have no sense of boundaries. Someone my kids have had enough we just told them all right we need space. Kids went crying to their mom and she Shouted at my 10 year old. Saying that she doesn't like him she doesn't like our family and a whole bunch of nasty things. By the time I register that I heard someone yelling at my kid, I ran out the house and she was leaving. I was inside with my youngest. While my son was at the end of the driveway waiting for the bus. I hate that Woman. Those kids do serve so much better, I mean it's in the most insulting way I possibly can, Trailer trash b****, W****. I used to hold some kind of empathy or sympathy for their situations. I still do for their kids and grandmother but not for their mother. She can burn in h*** . These people are brokin somewhere inside them that makes it so they can't see or feel how they're Actions affect outside of themselves. It's like they see point a point B And the outcome they want. But nothing really around it. They don't foresee the full extent of the consequences of their actions. And it's pretty ironic because they're the ones acting out saying that they're abused when more often than not people who were actually abused the way these people are pretending act completely opposite. So sad the loss of humanity is just increasing rapidly.

Incest? No. Groomed to commit incest? Not acceptable but the person would be sexually abused. He crafted the story that his mother started having sex with him at age 13, when a young man cannot consent and the ripe age for grooming. Being a victim is more acceptable than being a cheater.

Well some people want to know their partners plans are so they can then also plan their day accordingly. If you don't know their plans, you might both come home with the same exact set of groceries needed from the list while also inadvertently going over your budget doing so. Also to make sure they don't cause any other inconvenience conflicting plans can bring. Or one neglects saying they are going to be home late from work when an activity planned. It's being considerate of each other's time. Of course it really depends of how you go about it. Are you acting like a prison warden or asking plans only one in a while?

My husband never doubted me, but I think it made sense to us that our kids would come out fair skinned with brown curly hair because it was an exact mix of our genetics, my husband has black curly hair and I'm pale af. One latino guy, upon first meeting us, claimed our son wasn't his because of the skin/hair color. It can be fun to see how genetics play out, we have two now and one has large ear canals (like his father) and the other was born with a mole on the bottom of his foot (like me). He had his entire family believing I was not his, so they were never really in my life. My dad's side would send birthday and Christmas gifts for my sibs, but never for me. Needless to say I never had much of a relationship with my father, or his side of the family. I even questioned it a little when I was a tween. But, I believed my mom, and so did my sibs. So, they would always argue and stick up for me with that side of the family. But, it always fell on deaf ears. I was unbelievably blessed in the fact that my stepdad raised me, and loved me as if I was his own flesh and blood. Well, many years later my dad needed a liver transplant, and everyone in the family was tested. My mom said I should test, and I outright refused at first. But, then my sister told me this could finally dispell all the doubts. So, I was tested, and had a DNA test. I didn't match for the liver, however the DNA proved that he was indeed 99.998% my father. He, and his entire family were speachless. They all tried to reachout to me to apologize, but I told them all where to go, especially my father. When I got married, my father expected that he would walk me down the aisle, but I told him NO, and that my real dad (stepdad) rightfully deserved the honor. However, when I became pregnant with my twins, I came to realize that if I wanted to be the best mom possible, I needed to resolve things with my father. I reached out, and let him know that if he wanted anything to do with my children or myself, that he had to agree to family counseling. He did, and we were able to work through things. We were never father/daughter "close." But, we repaired enough of our issues, that we did have a somewhat decent relationship until he passed 10 years later. When I gave birth to my 3 children, my husband never once questioned paternity. However, while I have never cheated on him, I had a DNA test just for the record.

I'd be getting the paternity test and divorce him when it proves he's the father. There is no trust that you need for a relationship. It is certainly easier to be a solo parent than it is to put up with all that stuff.

Saw the title and went “Oh, that’s not good.” Edited to add: Yep, not good. Genetics are nuts. I know a family with a black hair, dark eyes and olive skinned mother and a blond, blue eyed white father. The first child has dark hair, dark eyes and olive skin like his mum. They had six children, and each child has progressively lighter hair, eyes and skin until the youngest is blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin. Story 2: what a wild ride! I’m glad OP got herself out of that mess.

Yup. My family is an absolute cluster of DNA. My mum and I are the only gingers in a family that comes from Europe and the Middle East. A lot of my family definitely has the tan skin, dark eyes and hair whereas my mum and I are pale, have grey eyes and bright red hair and freckles lol.

And you will see birth rates take a massive nose dive between couples and IVF with single women skyrocket. What woman would have a baby with a man and then have her integrity questioned after she gave birth, when she's in pain and her hormones are all over the place?

Either mandatory DNA testing or proof of not being the Father should absolve them of all child support obligations and in case of marriage/ civil partnership the unwilling non-Father should be financially restituted the equivalent of child support for the amount of time spent raising the child.

Are you like the rest of your "paternity tests should be mandatoey" crowd and believe women have no right to be upset about being accused of cheating (the only way the child wouldn't be the partners kid, and no way around it) and that divorcing/breaking up would make the woman "evil" and how child support shouldn't be legal? Because you guys only seem to care about the benefit of the men and not the women and children affected.

S1: Even after doing the test behind his wife's back and finding out the kid is his, he's still throwing around accusations. Now I get it- technically, the kid being his doesn't mean his wife didn't cheat. But his suspicions are totally unfounded and without evidence. I'd wager a lot of money that OP's husband is the one stepping out, and his paranoia is just confession through projection.

First of all it's common for black babies to come out the womb with light skin and then get darker. If you look at my newborn photos my skintone was very pale and now I'm brown lol and that's with having two black parents. So I would totally expect a biracial baby to come out "white". How can he have a child with a white women then act surprised when the babies white??? My cousin who is a black women recently had a baby with her husband whose white and their baby came out white too, is she not the mother??? Just goofy

Even when the kids are from same-race parents, the accusation of cheating is a deal breaker. Some women do the test and file for divorce. Genetic counseling should be part of prenatal care for biracial couples having a child. The child could look completely look like one parent than the other and yet the DNA matches. In this case, he doesn't trust her and the marriage is never the same again even if the kid is his. He also refused counseling until he realized that could mean a rocky marriage and even divorce. She already sees him as a different man. I would end the marriage.
