it's funny that women sort of do 'complain' about this kind of thing (i get it) when they don't realise what it's like for men. nobody offers us favours or help or anything like that... i had an ex who had all these male friends doing different jobs for her on a boat she was restoring and i was like... you realise they're not just doing this out of the kindness of their hearts right? you realise no man has ever OFFERED me a favour and i would have to pay my friends at least SOME money to do THEIR LITERAL JOB to help me out right? i asked her how many female friends were offering to help her and all she could muster up was "my mum" and this one other friend she had never mentioned lmao. you guys aren't really this naive are you??

He's just trying to keep the convo going because she's cute. He could care less about actually giving you advice. I;m positive her homely friends don't get this. It was solid advice, however. (I'm a chemist, so I'm totally qualified to critique his advice)
