Phillip felt very guilty about not seeing his friend in his final moments before passing and not being there for him. Which is why I think he’s stayed in Cambodia for so long was to grief and heal from the death of his friend

I volunteer at Vets office. Believe me I’ve seen all kinds of neglected animals come through and having to get put down due to the negligence of their owners. However, you gave her the best life you could’ve offered. You went out of your way to find her the most amazing home. Just please remember that your efforts were not in vain. She lived her final days in peace surrounded by love and that’s the best thing you can give her during her final days, even if you didn’t know it.
