Yes, I've been nauseous at times ALOT, but my Electrolyte mix is a life-saver for sure. And since I've been so obsessed with this lifestyle change, I've not been Drinking and eating the two Family Size bags of Doritos nightly. Thank you.

I found you last week when I was on a business trip with my husband. While he was in meetings for 5 days, I was stuck at the hotel. I don't go out and do things by myself. So, I sat in our room on my computer and researched carnivore. I found you on Dr. Ken Berry's channel. I was so impressed by you! We got back home late Monday night and on Tuesday morning, (yesterday) I started ketovore. I'm keeping a food journal, I weighed and measured myself, and I made sure I have food at the ready so as not to just be too hungry and grab anything in sight. You're videos are helping so much! I shared your videos with my mom. She said she's going to commit to ketovore with me and she just loves your videos, too. Thanks for sharing your progress!! You are such an inspiration!

@M.Sforza so the carnivore diet has multiple variations. Starting with lion diet. It's the most strict. Ppl who are very sick do this diet. It consists of Ruminate animal meat only, salt, healthy fat, and water. Basic carnivore is all animal based foods. So beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and fish, dairy, salt and the healthy fats. Ketovore is all that plus some veggies and seasonings that don't give you a reaction. Niesha Berry is Ketovore and her channel might help.

I'm a very youthful looking 65 - people never guess my age - however I had 2 hip replacements almost 1 year ago - but prior to that due to the pain was a couch potato for almost 2 years and only "now" beginning to walk properly again....during my couch potato days I could barely move around my space I was in so much pain (pain killers didn't help)....I started carnivore 28 days ago with weight at 238 and down to 233 pounds barely being active..... Little by little my activity is increasing. And with each pound I lose I also emotionally feel more upbeat. This is a miracle to me. Thank you for your videos - you in my opinion are the most sincere channel of all.

You're doing a great job keep it up! Your body is doing the ground work for weight loss to happen. The human body will not burn fat in a high insulin state. Elevate insulin in the blood stops the fat burning process so being consistent on a diet like this will start fixing blood sugar issues over time. Once your body has done the work to correct your blood sugar the weight will start falling off. I'd suggest using a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) to get a good look at where your blood sugars sit and that can help you move the needle.

Hello, I'm a 50 year old woman who's in remission from chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was on a weekly biologic injectible medication "Enbrel," with other prescriptions like Celebrex, Methotrexate, Tramadol & Prednisone at times that made my immune system sick and my body obese & weak starting at the age of 27. I started eating a ketogenic lifestyle in September 2019, and now I'm mainly carnivore "Ketovore." This way of eating is the only thing that has helped my weight loss of 60lbs, severe pain, inflammation, and other metobolic health conditions. Also, I started implementing lifting heavy weights, strength training & balance exercises 4 times a week last April. It has been a new life for me! You can seek your true health every day, starting with what you eat/drink & don't eat/drink. Thank you, Christine Peters

This breaks my heart thinking you wanted to take your life... you've hands down been one of the most positive .. beautiful .. caring and motivating human beings I've met on here. In retrospect you can now see that the Lord had a bigger purpose for your life. You're using your past pain and the tool that helped save you to save the lives of others who also have no hope. This is your ministry, and the Lord is using one of the most incredible human beings to do it. You're not prideful .. you're not cruel or mean like a large majority of people on social media, you shine love, beauty and kindness to people and at the end of the day that matters. So proud of you and your journey!

I loveeeee you. I started my recuperation season because of your testimony. First month I tried carnivore I lost a few pounds, slept to rest, pain from RA left my body, took less supplements, found a renew love for food, stopped the ruminating guilt, shame and condemnation thoughts. I saw you (Sorry to say it but is true) with all those extra pounds moving, and I compared myself with my 40 extra pound sitting on my sofa. You are really addressing the BIG monster of emotions, feelings, wrong thoughts that torment many of us [overweight, sick, simply unmotivated (what some will called lazy) or people that think to much]. We believe to many lies, specially when the lies have the goal to stop us. I was 128 pounds, five years ago with no health issues and with a very healthy & organic diet. I ended in the hospital and a week later a doctor put all wrong ideas in my mind (with a very bad medication that turned my digestive system a mess). Not a single word from him motivated me to keep moving forward, no smile, no empathy, no HOPE, no nothing. I asked if a diet could help? He answered as I was lunatic (he looked possessed, I'm not kidding). He dumped a whole truck of garbage on me, and I received them all. It was like a dead sentence for me. But seeing you, hearing you, the healing process and the renewing of the mind started. I started, as you said, with little things. I started to CELEBRATE ME, every time I pick up something out of place, every time I choose to do instead of ask someone else to do it. Gratitude for the little accomplishments changed me. I celebrated God and I celebrated myself. I am not losing weight as I supposed, but my mind, my motivation, my energy, my balance, my flexibility are getting better every day. Do I wish I can eat everything without having bad body reactions? Yes, but those thoughts are not attacking, or tormented, or shaming me anymore. I CHOOSE RIGHT and positive over negative, bad and destroying thoughts. THANK YOU! God bless you and all that you touch.

So thankful, you got through your worst times ❤ sometimes people need to be on the ground or even deeper to rise like a phoenix 🐦‍🔥 go on, dear Amanda. ❤I am finally also committing to carnivore, without failing, because I am losing weight and not gaining, because of the less fat and butter, but adding protein. I thought, I am a failure to carnivore even, but couldn‘t digest fruits, vegetables and grains…. It was a nightmare. One year ago I had 25 more pounds to carry. Now I am about 20 pounds away from my dream-weight - but this is not even so important - everything else, matters so much, I love the journey and I have at least a year time and just want to keep the weight off and became a new me. As you are also becoming - the rel best Amanda, you were meant to be. 🎉My husband always loved me too and was devastated because of my sadness because of the weight and binges and stomachaches afterwards… a vicious circle indeed. But we must never give up - and a new door opens. Congratulations to your new life - you earn it sooooo much! And hug your husband - he loves you so much - this is so much proof, that he loves you more than anything. ❤many hugs again from Austria 🇦🇹 ❤🥰 p.s. I also lost my wonderful best friend, my Bernese mountain dog last year, it was a nightmare, he was so not even 5 years old and I miss him everyday, but we have to be the best to be able to live on and be grateful for their wonderful friendship - but he was also a reason for letting me go… I am waiting for a new Bernese ❤and I will be in the best shape ever, so I can also be a good friend to him ❤love your dogs 🐕 ❤

It can be hard to get enough protein, esp when being in ketosis kills one's appetite. I add a scoop of protein powder to 2 cups of coffee along with a pat of butter, 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tbsp heavy cream, mix with a hand blender, so creamy and delicious.

I've discovered a few things along the way - like, I was eating way less than I needed to, for starters. When I added up the calories one day, my total for the day was like 1100! Now I know we don't need to count calories - some people are eating 3000 or more in a day - but I also listened to people talking about "priming" which is eating more than you think you need, for several days to a week. It convinces your body that it's getting plenty of food, so it can afford to burn up some of that fat for energy; it also can make it much easier to do a fast for several days . . . another way to reset your metabolism. And then I learned that I needed to increase my fat consumption. That's what your body uses for energy, in addition to the nutrients and essential fatty acids. Often if someone has been doing carnivore for awhile but still feeling tired, the balance between protein and fat is off. And BTW protein can get converted to glucose, which might explain your BS. Maybe try upping fat and reducing protein just a bit, for a week. Sometimes small changes can yield big results!

I have been mostly carnivore and occasionally ketovore for about two years. I have had amazing results. My question is I have an acquaintance that is well over 300 pounds and I know she would benefit from the carnivore diet and your journey. She has not asked for my advice. Is it appropriate to send her one of your videos? I want to help, but I don’t want to step over boundaries.
@CarnivorousMe1
@CarnivorousMe1 6 ай бұрын
I really can't answer that as for some people they would appreciate it and others not. What does your inner voice tell you? You could also talk about a video you like in conversation or your progress on carnivore and if they ask it opens the option to offer sending a video.

Girl we all wish we would have found this way of life sooner. But we all found it and each other and all the other resources at the exact moment we could have handled it. As someone who just a few months ago just started keto and now going towards carnivore, I was so against both plans. Now I'm like Whoot Whoot let's do this!! I always wonder if these videos are 100% truthful. I am taking a chance and posting anyway. Dec 2022 I was finally able to work 8 hour shifts and had lost some weight and had more energy. I was eating whole foods and moving my body. Well at the end of that month my daughter took her life. I ended up gaining back all I lost and then some. I am finally back to work but struggling with the weight. Its slowly improving but trying to figure out what to eat some days. I can eat 'healthy' yet don't feel satiated. I was diagnosed with pre diabetes. My blood sugar is much better than it was as well. However I need to lose weight if I'm going manage to be more active and work more. I was off work a year and really need to get back to full time to pay the bills. I keep hearing of course from a lot of doctors that only meat you will cause your heart damage. Lastly I think your weight loss journey is awesome. go you!

I hope you will read this. We love you and we want to thank you for all you are doing and the information you give! Those stupid folks that are having bad and even mean comments are terrible, but it says more about them, because there are a lot of bad people, who are not able to love someone else the same way as they love themselves and most of the time they do have a very low self asteem and they feel better, when they can push someone else in the ground. Steak and Butter Gal is also experiencing this and I think a lot of other KZbinrs. Those stupid folks make a habit of it to bully somebody else. I want to let you hear from me, so that you will know, that I am thinking of you. You are not out of our minds. With much ❤.

I first started carnivore last year and lost 30 pounds in 3 months. But because I didn't address my emotional well-being and mental health, I feel off and gained half of it back. Now thanks to mh meds and therapy my emotional and mh are much better. I've decided to get back at it and do those tiny habitat changes. Started with slowly cutting down my beloved daily Dr pepper. To just 2 a week. Then slowly added in gym time and now doing 2 or 3 days a week. Staring today I'm going to incorporate ketovore back in. Watched this video while eating my breakfast of ribeye cooked in butter. Going to have a nice salad with some fruit for lunch later and maybe some yummy grilled salmon for dinner. Thank you so much for this video. Those tiny habitat changes, really do add up.

Hi Rachel, it’s so difficult to quit the soda. I noticed Dr. Pepper now has a zero sugar version. I tried one the other day and thought it was pretty good with a near identical flavor to the full sugar version. If you can get them in your area it might be worth a try just to get the sugar out of your diet and get you through till you can quit drinking them all together. Quitting soda is so difficult for me too, I am able to quit for a good while and then they manage to creep their way back in till I’m back to one or two a day. I mostly like to drink them with spicy food or Mexican food but I just need to quit them for good. After I started Carnivore it seems my tastes have changed and the Coke Zero began tasting like chemicals which really helped to ween off of them. If you like the sparkle try exchanging your Dr. Peppers with a Lacroix water instead. I did not know this in the beginning but one of the carnivore doctors was saying that even if there is no sugar in your soda the sweet flavor will still evoke an insulin response. The insulin sends the message to store any calories in reserve as fat and will not release them as fuel until we can call on our reserves after we reach a fasted state. Dr. Jason Fung has a lot more info on this subject in his numerous videos. The latest video interview with Dr. Fung can be found on the Diary of a CEO channel which gives a condensed version of his theories. Best wishes and happiness to you, you can do it! ❤😊

No, you are NOT back at square one - you have the benefit of knowing what this will do for you! You can look forward to seeing your dog again when you cross over - but for now, it's up to you to make sure that trip doesn't come any earlier than necessary! Our pets are like our children, so it's understandable that such a loss would put us in a momentary tailspin - but don't let the depression suck you down, you've got this!

I feel your pain! I lost my soul dog in a traumatic way in 2011… It literally derailed me for almost 10 years! Then I found Keto, and started trying to get back to where I had been. I realized that my Doodle Bug wouldn’t have wanted me to go back to being unhealthy because of what happened to her. I am now basically at maintenance stage, and learning how to stay at this weight is easier than ever before.
