It's unusual to point out that a white person is well spoken coz that's their home lang, but with Nina I'm urged to say she's brilliant at conveying her thoughts💯

Thank you for having this conversation. I think we are finally moving foward as a country. If we can be honest with each other ( both black and white) and start engaging as human beings a lot of good things can happen.

oh guys easily one of the favorite episodes on TCC, one hour wasn’t enough! we need her to come back as soon as she can and I must say the conversation got even more interesting when each one of you poured in their two cents! I feel like even as listeners we need that other voice to have better perspective and you guys did that. I love it here.

The part where she learns different languages at once but it able to draw connections between it is how some neuro brains are wired. Same as how she can come across as jumping topics but to her it is connected therefore makes sense. Typically it’s not logical but neurodiversity wise it makes sense. The gift is seeing things neurotypical wouldnt normally see. Love the video.

Nina has ADHD! It now makes sense why I used to cringe at her energy on TrendingSA when I was still in highschool not knowing that I was undiagnosed!! I spotted what I was!! I totally loved this conversation! I could relate to the conversations flow with it being everywhere because that’s how my brain works😂. It never sticks to just one thing. ADHD is quite a challenge for me given the memory hurdles I have while having to study a lot of theory and I’ve always been against taking meds(I rather keep trying herbs🫣).Seeing her medicated and thriving gives me hope and is shedding a new light on how to go about my diagnosis. Also, it’s soo true that we’re a rainbow nation with each colour of the rainbow still separately in its own bucket! I’ve always been one person who is quick to judge White people when they speak about social politics and have always seen them as privileged! I never thought about how they also went through indoctrination and it’s a trauma that some, especially at university ,are fighting to get through by trying to integrate with us! Now I know to try to make the spaces accessible to them as much as we try to get other spaces accessible to us. Thank you for this amazing chat❤

I haven’t watched yet but thank you so much for having someone with adhd on the platform. The shock I got when I got on meds, neurotypical people have life on freeball mode lol. It took a bit of time to get the right dose but oh boy am I functional now. Just mourning the academic career I could’ve had hahaha
