Something I noticed, when Izzy arrived to Maretime Bay, she walked to the theater and said "I haven't watched this one yet", does this mean unicorns also have TVs and electricity? As we saw, pegasus have the finest technologies, while earth ponies have a not so modern but advanced technology, and unicorns doesn't seem to have any of that. They even used mouses for the game to function.

For the unicorns it's a bit of a mix. They had those armadillo mice things running the wheel...but the machine also had LEDs, sensors in the pads for their hooves, working microphones, so it's a bit of a mix

I think Izzy's line in the campfire scene after Sunny asked her what was wrong, and she said Sunny and company were the best thing to ever happened to her and she doesn't want the adventure to end, was a lot like Twilight at the end of the G4 pilot episode where Celestia asked her why she was glum, and she replied that it was because just when she learned how great friendship could be, she had to leave Ponyville. Also in Zephyr Heights we hear the line "every pony who's any pony will be there" referring to the royal performance. Definitely has to be a reference to Photo Finish's line in G4's "Green Isn't Your Color"

Ok theory time! Princess Twilight's dissappearence or death is the reason for the pony races breaking up! After Twilight's friends passed away, she wanted to find an artifact that could bring them back to life. However, her search was fruitless and she never returned in order to mourn and cry about her lost friends. After Twilight left and the guards didn't want to be blamed for her disappearence, and each race then began to suspect the other races for her mysterious absence. Overtime, the overall hatred of each other began to overshadow Twilight's potential demise by the fear and anger everypony had for each other. Just a theory, but I think it's one to maybe consider!

@@jendralabg059 Well, during the final episode when princess twilight sends her student off to learn about friendship, we see that everyone in the mane 6, excluding twilight, have grey streaks in their mane and tails. We also do not see granny Smith in the last song, which sadly implies that she may have died. This shows that the normal ponies (besides alicorns) are not immortal and will eventually pass away from old age. While there are no other episodes after the season 9 series finale, this is only a theory and the best conclusion I can think of as to why twilight isn't in gen 5 when she is an immortal alicorn.

The time board in the abandoned Zephyr Heights station also had some names of cities on them, including Manehatten and possibly Mt. Aris as well. You have to really zoom in to see them though and the some of names are missing letters so it's hard to tell for sure what they spell out (specifically the ones toward the bottom of the board)

One thing you missed for the movie posters in Maretime bay is one on the other side of the entrance from the Horns & Harry Trotter poster was a smaller poster for a movie called "Dirty Prancing" (reference to Dirty Dancing), and there is an pony who appears close to Sprout in many of the crowd scene shots during his villain song (and I think the whole sequence near the end) who has the exact same mane, eye & coat color of Derpy Hooves, and in a few of the shots her eyes do go a bit wonky, so I'm thinking it's not a coincidence (despite the fact that she's an earth pony instead of a pegasus). Also, the pinkish tree in the background of the scene where Hitch realizes he lost his Sheriff badge is confirmed by the writers to be the Tree of Harmony.

Maybe Twilight enchanted the crystals, as sort of a fail safe? In case of a future time where she’s no longer around, and ponies have lost their way? The crystals can return *magic* to the world as long as there is friendship between the three kinds of ponies... but this sort of goes against everything that season 8 was.... (season 8 was the school season yeah?) and goes against the embrace of other creatures such as changelings, Kieren (who can also use magic), yacks, ect ect, oh and most importantly freaking dragons, so I may have disproved my own theory? The thing is even during FiM Equestria very easily fell into anti-other creatures mindsets and even anti other pony races mindset with the slightest push. Whose to say without Twilight around to correct them they wouldn't fall into those same mindsets and grow paranoid of their neighbouring creatures due to their pasts of terrorising ponies? It would be safer to have a fail safe where if ponies mistrust got too bad and risked all put war or something that all of magic would be taken? From what we know it could've been engineered to only affect pony magic and the other species just left Equestria to avoid persecution if the ponies blamed them for their lost of magic. I could see Twilight doing this to keep the other creature's leaders calm so that Equestria would be no threat to them but Equestrian society would be far enough gone to be able able function without it. For all we know, Spike may still be around and keeping the other creatures at bay with Ember etc as the friendship Ambassador since after Twilight he was the most qualified.

My theory is Discord reluctantly brought back magical items like this due to rising conflict and he had to use them as a last resort, one being taking away the magic from ponies. Discord being immortal wouldn’t die and is quietly protecting everypony, still causing some Discord because he has to, until the magic was ready to return.

There is one reference you’ve missed in the movie, when Hitch makes it to the borders of Zephyr Heights where Sunny and Izzy first met Zipp before the guards arrested them, and he found clues to Sunny and Izzy’s whereabouts, he found a strand of Izzy’s hair hanging on a tree branch. That was a reference to My Little Pony: The Movie, when the Mane 6 were in Klugetown on a mission to save Equestria from the Storm King, Pinkie Pie left a strand of her cotton candy hair hanging, and Tempest (or Fizzlepop Berrytwist lol 😂) noticed it when she tracked the Mane 6 down

Also, maybe a minor thing, but did anyone notice that Sprout has Bic Mac's colours exactly, down to the eye colour? His mother even calls him "Sugarcube" which is AJ's term of endearment. Sunny shares Scootaloo's mane and coat colour but has different eyes. I did think the wings on her helmet was a reference to Scootaloo. The rollerblades might not be exact, but they do remind me of Scootaloo's scooter. There's also a Monster commercial in the background. Sprout does a clear parody of Darth Vader and the emperor's visit in Return of the Jedi when he checks in on the factory. I also think Danger Danger had mane homages to Scar's Be Prepared from The Lion King.

Hopefully that will be the actual premise for the series coming soon cause I doubt they would ignore the unforeseen consequences of bringing magic back. Would be cool to see Sunny be forced to realise that not everything in the last was idyllically peaceful and happy and how magic can be used for bad.
