Certain artificial food colorings, preservetives in foods, sugars, alcohol, caffeine, heat, noise, and large crowds can be triggers for some people. "I try my best to avoid all of them if possible." If i want to indulge in sugars or caffeine, i stay home to myself or i may get a really bad anxiety or panic attack or I may have a major angry meltdown from feeling overwhelmed by too much brain stimulation from the outside world. Even worse, I may have insomnia because I'll constantly play out scenarios and do multiple word configurations in my head until my brain feels frenzied & unable to stop configuating or analyzing every thing my eyes have come in contact with. It's mentally draining. 😫

Awesome video and message, Dusty. I've been experiencing a HUGE increase in moderate to severe anxiety/panic in the past month and a half. Not only has my work and personal life suffered but I'm also experiencing a major lack of sleep and rest. I can't really find the reason behind the sudden increase in anxiety but have been utilizing some of the tools you suggested (meditation, mindfulness of the moment, spirituality) and things have begun to slowly calm down. I will definitely check out some of the products you recommended. Thanks for the inspiration and positive words.

Medical Medium’s anxiety + depression healing info completely transformed me. It’s all about heavy metals-you’ve gotta get them out. I was having intense anxiety and panic attacks and had no idea why. I literally haven’t felt any anxiety or panic attacks in a year. You wouldn’t have to make many changes since you already eat so clean. Heavy metal detox smoothie is key. Also avoiding gluten, corn, and soy.

I have been struggling with anxiety for a few years now. It’s definitely triggered by my business (20 years into entrepreneurship). Some days I feel like I can’t breathe and don’t want to go to sleep because I know I will have to endure another day of this hell when I wake up. I can’t just close my doors and live off the land... how do you continue your business and control the anxiety that comes along with it?
@EatMoveRest3 жыл бұрын
Hey Dizzy, again I've been able to overcome many of my struggle. It really just comes down to feeing your thoughts...
@pamelaj4983 жыл бұрын
Hi Dizzy K, I too have a business and I struggle with anxiety. I think the suggestions in the video are helpful but no one knows the stress we as business owners are under unless you’ve experienced it first hand (especially the financial stress!) Sometimes it is nice just knowing there is someone else out there who is currently experiencing what you are - someone who understands. I will pray that business improves for you and that the stress goes down. These are challenging times and my heart goes out to my fellow entrepreneurs. I also wish we could live off the land - a daily fantasy of mine!!! One thing that has helped me is to be kind to myself- right now it is OK to not be OK.

You are a great communicator Dusty. This is a difficult topic to talk about but talking about it is what makes it easier and manageable. Thank you for this video. In October 2019 I shared your experience of a breakdown due to sleep deprivation and anxiety. Your video will be so affirming and helpful to so many. I used to use magnesium and it did help with sleep; however, I really struggled with the laxative effects of magnesium. I looked at the SunWarrior brands and could not tell what type of magnesium it is. I wish I could find one that does not affect the gut so much. Thank you for all you two do; I'm also from Lincoln, NE

I like how you said to look at it as a mental cold, not a mental state of never recovering once you have a breakdown. for me it was a combo of poor healthcare and stress. it all became too much. I was labeled bi-polar which, although in my 30s, have never had this... I became that. I've been having a hard time coming to terms w that diagnosis. maybe I don't have to come to terms w it. I've never believed in labels of any kind, but this has really hit me.

Thanks for sharing Dusty. People really need help in this area. There are just straight up physiological reasons for mental illness FOR SURE, even if emotional trauma is part of it. Another rarely acknowledged aspect is the spiritual aspect. People can open doors to the demonic realm and yes, this is often a big contributor to anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, etc. So Jesus AND plants! Peace.

I love following me both of your videos. You guys are such a beautiful happy wonderful couple and your recipes and your plant-based lifestyle is super inspiring. ❤️ I have suffered from anxiety for about 18 to 20 years in my life and have tried all the things. What I find that works is a lot of prayer and continuously being in God's word. Sometimes when we go through things in life it's God calling us to seek him. There are so many religious books out there and so many humans that think they have the answer to every ailment out there. But we are sinful tainted and imperfect people writing a book on how to get over imperfections. In those moment of darkness I encourage you to turn to the One who created you and knows you better than you know you and better than any author of a book knows you. The other things that have helped me in life is a little bit of homeopathy, green and herbal tea, and ashwaghanda.

Been traumatized sinse I was 11 years. My (deaf) father came Home from the doctors office and he Said he was going to die and that its because of cancer. He did die, when I was 15. I watched the strongest man I ever knew become angry, anxiois, Skinny, look like A skelleton and fade away before My eyes. In the end he was non responsive. I thought I had healed. When I was 22 years I birthed My second son but I did it at Home. No doctors cause I hate Them (they killed My father, i used to think.) 6 months in, My son was not developing as he should. Blood test showed Downs Syndrom and My world fell apart. Then the diseases was lining Up, heart desease, astma, spasm, epilepsi. I thought Id lose My son. Went plant based and Dove into spirituality. Became pregnant again. Now with 3 kids and im 25, Still struggle but I hope i'll get there. Thank you for this video ❤️
