I’m constantly wondering and worrying about if I’m going to find ‘the one’ and I literally was just sobbing about my fathers declining health when I decided to go onto KZbin to distract myself for a little while and this is the first video that pops up on the home page. Anyone else found it odd that she went to a Shinto Buddhist temple & prayed to a Judeo-Christian God? If you believe that's what saved your father's life then perhaps it's time to convert from Baptist to Buddhist.
@aleks-335 жыл бұрын
So if you pray to God at Walmart, Walmart saved your dad? You pray to whoever, wherever. When Spanish colonizers forced Christianity on Maya people, sometimes they'd hide their idols inside Christian crosses and pray to them inside Christian churches. Where you pray doesnt matter, a church or a temple is just a place. It's what you believe that matters.

I thought it was weird too, but then I realized she’s just progressive. It’s so much better to be open to other cultures than being super conservative and denying everything that’s not in the Bible. I know a few American missionaries in Japan, and I’m kinda scared of them. They HATE shrines and temples. One of them even said she once pretended praying at a shrine out of pressure, and she suffered so much from that huge sin she committed.
