I just love watching you be so artsy and loving on these beautiful shadows! They really are extraordinary ❤️ I have Makeup Geek Insomnia loose pigment which reminds me of UD Lounge. I have a couple other shadows that have that same duochrome color scheme too, but Insomnia is so extraordinary to me because it has such a red hndertone that I can buff it into my crease and really get that red grungy multilayered look with just that pigment. I love it so much! There’s also a shadow called Double Life in the UD Born to Run palette that has a blackish base and this amazing deep deep copper that is kind of duochrome in a way, and I can do the same kind of look with that all over the lid and into the crease. Its fantastic. Also Corona from the UD Kaleidoscope palette is a goldeney rose gold that has a slight duochromey shift to it that is just so pretty for every day. Those are my absolute favorites :)

I love Looxi eyeshadows and JD Glow Galaxy shadows. They are some of my most unique shades in my collection. Looxi's Juice, Hybrid, Misfit plus their ice cream social collection are so beautiful and only $3. To me Juice is like a subtle but glittery/sparkly multichrome for $3. JD Glow 365 is so sparkly and wet looking on the eye.

I feel this video highlights the fact that makeup is preference. My friend has the Roen palette and single you showed and she absolutely hates it. She feels you have to work too hard to get the represented payoff and working in corporate America she doesn’t have the time. I wonder if you’ve found the same issue as it appears you really have to repeatedly dig to get the desired payoff. I love you videos, they are so refreshing to watch!😊💕

I definitely don't have to repeatedly dig in to get the desired payoff, I just enjoy doing big juicy layered swatches! My favorite thing about those roen shadows is how effortless they are to use. My guess is that your friend and I are aiming for very different looks, which just reinforces your point that makeup preferences vary widely, I totally agree!

@@HannahLouisePoston makeup is a preference. I had Looxie Rage and as much as it was pretty, it was too glittery for me, so I gave it away to my hairdresser. I know it isn't for her, but she'd have more success finding a good home for it than me. She knows I'm all for giving her things and if she doesn't want them she'll give them away to a friend or relative.

I love all of your picks, I need to add the that Sydney Grace cream shadow into my next order. II would love to have those shades from the ND Gold palette but I just can't buy a palette for that price for 2 or 3 shades. I also that that Kevin Aucoin shade, love that whole palette really. I do love the Clionad shadows. I did buy the mini Natasha Denona mini gold palette. I am finding myself attracted to green looks lately. I think it is because I am going to dye my hair anymore and it is somewhat dark brown and I have brown eyes and I am just loving the green look. Did you say Coffee Time by Maybelline was one of your favorite brown lipstick? Also what was the essence you said you got from Amazon. I have a goal for 2020. I found out it is cheaper to go to London in November which is my birthday month. I will be 50 next year and my goal is to be in London on my birthday. About the shadows that crease- I’ve found that when I use setting powder (the white nyx one) rather than setting spray, things don’t crease as much. And I know you use setting spray so it might be worth trying a powder? Even if you just used it over the eyeshadow. I don’t usually wear eyeshadow so maybe it would affect the colour in a way it doesn’t with base make up.

I really enjoy videos like this, I find them very soothing! An eyeshadow that I think is right up your alley is Chaotic Nebula by Fyrinnae. I have a pretty large collection of multichromes, but have nothing else like this one. It's a red base that can look purple or brown heaped with super flaky shifting mica that's green-teal-purple. If you go to Instagram and search #fyrinnaechaoticnebula you'll see my swatches and me wearing it (I'm swatchoverme), swatches from a friend of mine, and a few others wearing it. ti's truly something to behold! It's loose pigment only as they had trouble with it pressed. Fyrinnae is also an old school indie brand and have been huge innovators over the years.

I loved this! It was really helpful to see all those shadows swatched together, and I've definitely got a few of them on my wishlist now. But more importantly, I feel excited to dig into my own collection of extraordinary eyeshadows! Some of my favourites are the Colourpop Super Shock Shadows - I find the mattes to be really satiny and dimensional (like Seeker and Paradox), and the shimmers are so shiny and wet-looking (like Moonwalk and Ritz). I also love my ABH mattes, they have that satiny, sheeny quality as well which really lends them to a one-shadow look.

The shadows in my collection, that I deem to be very special are my dark jewel-toned shimmers by Lethal Cosmetics (Spirit, Aether, Equilibrium), they're super smooth and shiny, they basically look wet, I also love Rise From The Ashes a deep grey shimmer. I think they're special because deep shimmers/metallics are usually less shiny than lighter the shades and a lot of times they have a black base and are a bit too muted for my taste. These Lethal Cosmetics shades are saturated, shiny and true to color, when blended out. Another special shade is Makeup Geek Voodoo, such a beautiful metallic bright yellow-toned green, I rarely see shades like this elsewhere.

@@HannahLouisePoston yeah, i totally get it, everyone's talking highly about them. I love Lethal shimmers, I hit pan on Spirit, Aether and Afterglow. I have issues with the mattes, they don't work with other matte/satin formulas in my collection. They don't adhere to other mattes/satins and other mattes/satins don't adhere to them. I've mentioned my problems with the mattes in the comment section of the Theresa's review and Lethal Cosmetics responded to that comment, informing me they changed the formula since the Hive Collection (the one with the mossy greens). I picked up two more mattes, Habitat and Cascade, I have the same issues with Habitat, but Cascade from this year's spring collection worked well for me so far. However I seem to be the only person that has that problem, everyone else raves about them.
