Thank you for this. I've been slacking a lot regarding voice acting because I lost confidence, and I don't have a soundproof space to practice. I'm going to try to get back to it.

You don’t need a soundproof space to practice! You can practice anywhere.

You don't even need a soundproof space to get work. As long as it's treated to manage sound bouncing off the walls, you'll be good.

Truth! That's exactly 💯 what you told us with love in that video. Thank you for telling it Paul! I had a total knee replacement done on May 24th and my coach advised me to rest heal and work on getting the other parts of my business up such as the website, content, marketing, and emails. That's what I'm doing in-between horrific periods of knee pain, and physical torture aka physical therapy. I'm already making plans for VO Atlanta 2025 😁 hope to see you there!

Ah, shots fired, and I'm not mad at you, Paul. You would have made a fine military Senior NCO or Officer. This right here reminded me of a couple of people, and I almost stood at attention as you were dressing us down, Sir! Well said, and all I have to add is a saying we always would say to "motivate" a troop..."When in charge, take charge there, Chief!" We are all the chiefs of our businesses, so take charge!

I’ve always believed that no matter what you are trying to achieve in life…whether it’s athletics, earning a PhD, a world class musician or whatever….NOBODY SHOULD WANT IT MORE THAN YOU DO! Anything you achieve in life comes with hard work and there is no better feeling than getting where you want to be and being proud of the work you put in.

I became an Alabama fan because of Saban. And I have to say I respect him almost as much for why he left the game as how good he was coaching the game.

@vo-pro @vo-pro I have no problem with his retirement. I was happy for him and completely understood. I think he will be much happier on College Gameday! He looked comfortable and happy during the NFL Draft. He will continue to add value to the game in this new role.

You must have a camera in my apartment, because I just played Resident Evil and watched Bridgerton LOL. But I did that after a ton of direct marketing emails and time in the booth. Time management is critical.❤ Cheers Paul!

Great video Paul! I knew I really wanted to do VO when I decided to wake up at 5am for the gym before work, which gave me more time for VO when I got home lol. Also finding down moments or breaks during the work day to do marketing/look for auditions REALLY helps But I'll admit, Final Fantasy 7 on the PS5 has me in a bit of a chokehold right now 🥴😆
