Greetings from Qatar. I watched the whole video. And then repeated the jump rope segment from 4:14 to 12:27, nine times in a row. Took me an hr to finish. Heart rate was 176 to 183 bpm. Burned about 600 calories. Feeling like a million bucks. Thank you Dan and Team JRD.

i usually did 1 Rep for 6 Sets, each Rep 6 Minutes of jumping rope and each set i rest for about 2 minutes, so in total i do jump rope for 36 minutes, could you tell me how much calories i've burnt in that session , i really want to know

@@JIHAT.micah_ number of things required. Your height, weight, speed in which you're skipping and heart rate while exercising. The information I'll give will be a rough estimate

I do this combined with kettlebell swings for a workout when I don't feel like doing anything complicated. 100 jumps with 1lb rope + 10 swings with a 12kg for 10 rounds, resting if I need to, but no more than 30 secs. Or if I'm feeling burned out that day, i'll use the 1/4 lb and an 8kg kettlebell.

I also do the same. Sometimes 200-300 skips a set mostly boxer skip. It really feels that I am working out for my whole body. :) :)

Idk, maybe its just me but, jumping with both feet at the same time has always felt weird starting off with, even when i first started jumping rope it was always easier and loose feeling doing a boxers skip to both loosen up and just a workout of youre consistant with it.

Omg, I always do the 5 minutes warm up from the Prevent Injury playlist, but this looks even harder. Imma try to do this now! "Let's warm up so we can workout!"

Owww that’s a coincidence because I was using for so long static stretching routine every morning before my jump rope workout but I did not feel warmed up or stretched during the day and then I switched to a mobility warmup routine and it made a huge difference on my workouts and recovery too. I felt less soreness on it. Let’s Do the thing 👊🏻

Oh so it has some skipping added in compared to older warm up routines. I recognize the Bodyweight stuff and arm circles/raises from the JRD MAX workout program’s warm-up sequence
