With Pokemon Sword and Shield being released, I wanted to continue my series of Pokemon opinions, and give my opinion on every generation 8 Pokémon we know about. If any other gen 8 Pokemon are revealed in the future, I’ll be sure to share my thoughts with them some day.

My opinion GROOKEY: Cute THWACKEY: Pretty cool RILLABOOM: Not gonna lie, I love the idea of a tree stump for a drum. It even looks cool with the hedge going down its back and the vine in front of its face. SCOREBUNNY: Adorable RABOOT: Cool. And it's name isn't just a take on _rabbit_ and _boot_ (which, in America, we call them cleats), but also _soot._ CINDERACE: Awesome, but it's more satisfying facing one than owning one, in my opinion. SOBBLE: Cute DRIZZILE: Kinda strange, but okay overall. INTELLEON: I'm not a huge fan of how his hands are so big. Also, this wasn't going in the exact direction that some of us thought would be an idea for Sobble's final evolution (to those who knew the theme WASN'T sports), but it's still a cool Pokémon with an interesting concept.

The whole inteleon hate is just like how Greninja was hated. People are grossly exaggerating the whole "it looks ugly" rant. Really the only thing that's a bit off is the hands are a tad big, other than that it has a very solid design and pulls off the "cool" attitude with its animations very well. If anything Greninja is way uglier than Inteleon.

I don't know on what basis you're calling Gren ugly (tongue scarf most probably) but it's definitely one of the best designed Pokemon ever and far better-designed than Inteleon, which I think is a fine Pokemon but with a bit of a disappointing design. Also, I don't think the hate on Greninja was the same. It's true it had haters at first too but, compared to Inteleon (and most other starters), got very popular and loved as well.

"Okay" is the most positive thing I've heard about inteleon. I appreciate you for not being too negative. I mean, I don't like it's design either. However, I did enjoy USING it when I picked it as my starter. Key word being USE. My point being, try inteleon before just writing it off as "Ugly". Amphitrite my Inteleon was definitely best girl of the squad. I hope won't be too disappointed. I wasn't.

Aura: All these shiny colors are really good. Especially Arctovish’s. In my opinion Arctovish pulls off these colors the best because I just so happen to have a shiny Arctovish. I revived over 7,000 fossils just to get it. I didn’t even play the game’s story for an entire week to get this shiny. I don’t know if I say it’s worth it or not since I missed out on so many things like max raids or breeding competitive Pokemon or completing the Galar dex or hunting shinies for some stupid (bleep)ing whale... but yeah it’s a good shiny. Also Aura: (talking about shiny Duraludon) This shiny sucks... Idk why, but that made me laugh so freaking hard. The funny thing is is that I actually have a shiny Duraludon on my team in Pokemon Sword. I somehow managed to find one in a raid, and it was a GMAX one too. Edit: Also what you said about Toxtricity and Dragapult made me subscribe to your channel. They’re my favorite gen 8 Pokemon

I just gotta talk to somebody about this. I'm playing through sword the first time. I see the first two versions of the regional bug (I dont know its name) early on and then see nothing of it again. I'm then on my way to the rock gym. I see a caterpillar looking thing sticking out of a hole. "Must he the final evolution of the bug" I foolishly think. I'm going to have to see it at some point. Why not now? I fight caterpillar thing. It doesn't have the weaknesses I expect from a psychic bug but I'm not always the best at types so probably my bad. Catch caterpillar. Read pokedex entry. Turns out its multiple separate bodies controlled by one of them. Definitely psychic so it must be the bug evolution. Just fighting. No psychic or bug. Falinks became one of my favorite new pokemon. This is the first time I've seen the final evolution of the bug

Looking back on Gen 8, Galar had some damn good Pokémon. Some of my favorites include Corviknight, Regidrago, the Galarian Kanto birds, Indeedee-F, Mr, Rime, the Hatterene line, Appletun, and Cinderace. All of these are quality Pokémon imo
