Lizzie is paying the price. She needs to continue asking for forgiveness not just from OP but to judgement as well. Otherwise, only the worst will come to her in the end. The parents are no better they need to see that they messed up and need to let everyone know what they did was wrong and need to atone. The dad is a hypocrite for not seeing this as a sign of his past trauma before it happened to OP and didn't try to prevent it for his daughter from going through the same experience.

It amazes me how the parents expect OP to just get over what the sister did. I know any affair is terrible. You don’t mess with neighbors partners,friends partners or family partners. Glad that you're getting back together at sisters!! And I'm glad your husband is your rock!! But always keep an eye on your sister because once they do something slimy like that they'll try again you know it just happened she'll come on to him and stuff you never never let your guard down once a person shows you who they are believe them!! Yes people can change and forgiveness is not just for the person that loves you it's really for you so you can move on but be cautious!!
