Thanks everyone for your positive support, I'm not used to such kindness, you've all helped me gain the confidence to continue my sobriety, and for that, I thank you, I actually didn't expect anyone to watch, let alone comment and react, I mostly uploaded for friends and family. I see now I have a lot more friends than I thought! Much love and positivity, brothers and sisters, thank you again!

Thank you, everyone else in my life has noticed as well! My goal with this really was to inspire others that if I can do it, anyone can do it, but more importantly, you have to want to stop

@@ThinkingForward-we1qlI did the same. Been drinking heavily for almost 20 years and the day i decided to stop was the best decision in my life. I am sober for 4 years now and i never want to go back. The price you pay is not just the money. You are giving away your freedom and wisdom. They want you to drink and cash their pockets, but alcohol is a poison to the brain and soul. My advice is to not think ahead too much. Just think about today and keep up the positive energy 👊 As you said in the video - it takes a bit for your body to adjust, but damn i can tell that your body is much happier and thankful to you now 💪 I also dont remember half of my life, so many memories lost, but now i have the will and power to make new ones. I believe in you! You got this man 🔥

Hey brother. Sober for 6 years and it was by far the best thing I’ve ever done. It was truly the beginning of the growth of my life.

Hey Man...I want to say this....I lost my friend Wes after he decided Vodka was the only comfort he could find.... I've had my own addictions....but Alcohol really takes a Toll on the body... especially the Liver ... Ask your higher power, who is God.. to give you a path away from Alcohol....keep it up..

One thing that I (finally) noticed back when I was drinking was, like you said, it just wasn't fun anymore. The problem with drinking hard every night is you don't even notice the fun has stopped. Thanks for the vid. It's always nice to be reminded of one of the reasons why I stopped.

You are still at a point where you can turn it all around. You still look attractive and working on overcoming and recovering from alcohol will only continue to help with your outer and inner wellbeing. I tried everything but what made a big change was to join AA. I was really skeptical about AA but it’s been very helpful. The key to sobriety is to not do it alone!!! YT is great for Vlog but meet real people who will understand and not judge you!

Its AA that scared me away, it was the religious aspect of it, it seems to have dark cultish undertones like a church group. I am actually doing quite well dealing with it on my own. But thank you for the thought, been there, done that

Sorry to hear about that. Ive had many addictions myself, the hardest one to let go of was the cigarettes, at least for me anyway. My advantage through this was i am a nighttime alcoholic, so only drinking at a specific time everyday was probably what made it physically easier to just cold turkey, rather than if i had been an all day drinker for 20 years. Thank you for your kind words

I don't know you, sir, but I wish you the very best of luck. Getting sober is hard. Staying sober is harder. I've seen the toll that addiction can take, on the sufferer no less than anyone else. You deserve to get well and stay that way.
