This is exactly my life one year later in Feb 2022: Bought a peloton as a birthday gift to myself.✅Attached the cleats & set up my bike mat I ordered on Amazon beforehand, ✅ right alongside my windows.✅ Oh btw no notice, but Peloton was a no-show on my 1st delivery date. Once I got it, I had a super hard time clipping into one of my pedals, and then got really frustrated (yes, I cried 😭) because I couldn't find the 3mm allen wrench Peloton insisted came with the bike to loosen the pedal tension. Turns out it comes with the shoes. Dangit, Peloton! I loved my first class - I'm doing the "You Can Ride!" beginner program and taking ride #2 tonight. Looking forward to figuring out the socials to ride with friends. I've been spinning for years but got really out of shape in the last 3. I'm getting my peloton this sunday! I'm so excited because it's coming a month earlier than it was supposed to and I wasn't expecting that since I have heard so many horror stories from people. So far Tunde, Alex and Cody are my favorites for the bike, I really like Cody's meditation and Adrian for strength is amazing too!

I get my bike next week and am super excited. I have been using an echelon for the last 5 months, got it from costco and love it but the peloton I know will be even better. My husband and I are both going to use it. I am hoping they have lots of good instructors that my husband will like that are more low key, he doesn’t really like an instructor that is too over the top. He is more of a get on and get it done kind of guy.

I absolutely love my bike but it took me a while to fall in love with it. I bought it back in 2018, but was recovering from a shoulder injury. Fast forward to 2020, I became obsessed. Now, I do a variety or workouts daily (ride, strength, yoga, pilates, stretches and meditations). I am a proud member of TundesTribe. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Hey! How were you able to slowly start to cycle? I got out of the hospital because of rhabdomyolysis from spin class and honestly it’s difficult to get into it. Scared of getting inured again and everything.

I would do “just ride” or scenic rides maybe one or two per months. Very slow start.

I’ve had mine for 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE ❤️ IT! When I ordered I received my bike in 4 days but that was pre quarantine. Don’t be so hard on them the bike is the m very high demand , they can only ship what they have. Enjoy 😉

It was definitely worth the wait! I love it! My only issue was that they just shouldn't have given a delivery date if they couldn't stick to it. I would have been fine if they just said, "Thanks for purchasing, we'll contact you when it's ready!" LOL

This exact same thing happened to me and ours did get delayed twice, but we got it in May and I love it ! Only we didn’t get a call saying they were not coming etc. I was told that a lot of the issues with the delivery is WHAT service Peloton is using in your area! We got a Bike + and I do love it. I have joined the Peloton cult-like following ! 😂

I ordered mine mid November and and it was set to arrive Jan 15th. I got an email & text the day before saying that if anyone was having symptoms of sickness to reschedule etc. I stayed home all day Jan 15th and at about 3pm I called and a lady said that it was not coming and the were having supply issues. That’s it. So I just had to wait. Jan 25th I connected with support through chat and they scheduled its arrival for Jan 28th. Thankfully it DID arrive that day but sheesh. 😅 I love it though.

You did good I ordered my bike + before Thanksgiving, first delivery in Jan was canceled, second delivery was set for March. I was crushed, but I kept pushing. I used the reschedule link they provide, Feb 8th was available and IT WAS DELIVERED!!! I LOVE my bike but that whole delivery process is nerve-racking, to say the least!! Enjoy --- :) Tunde and Hannah Frankson have excellent beginner classes, and there is a Beginner 4 or 6 week problem as well.

the real benefit of the bike + is not the turning screen it's the auto adjust on the resistance, which is so much more practical rather than turning the knob all the time you never have to think about it, that's for other rider considering the purchase (even if now Peloton has made the gap between Bike and Bike+ greater)

Yes it is, but I view it as an investment into my health. We only have one life. Also, if you have a regular monthly gym membership or spin studio membership, you will end up spending the same amount eventually but with this you can ride as many times as you want for as long as you'd like.

So am I understanding correctly? Do you not automatically receive the actual bike classes with the purchase of the bike? It’s an extra monthly fee or is the extra monthly fee just for the traditional workout classes?

You have to buy the bike and then you also have a monthly subscription payment for the classes. Since the bikes have been delayed they have been giving the subscription free to enjoy while the bike is on its way. But yes I believe the subscription is around $200 a year.

I paid a little over $2,100 for my bike and shoes. Then in a couple months my monthly membership subscription will start and I think that's $40 a month. It's definitely an investment in yourself and overall health which makes it worth it in my opinion. Especially right now when gyms aren't the safest with germs and things.

Occasionally! I bought it back in the pandemic because I couldn't go to the gym. After I lost all my baby weight I stopped riding it as often. I use the membership for the strength classes and meditations though. My husband rides it weekly.
