I'm in the US and we are tired of the Covid situation as well. I really like the striped long sleeve tee on white. It is so cute. By the way don't be so down on yourself because you are a pretty young woman. I am 62 and can tll you life goes more quickly and you have so much positive things to look to. I love the first dress on you and don't think it looks too wide.The green blouse is lovely and looks gorgeous with the skirt.This would be a good idea for the check skirt.You could make it a simple shape so when you have your lessons this could be a second one.That way you're pupils will have an option of wearing three outfits out of two makes.

Suzy! Great to see another blog from you :) love your recent makes too, especially your Maker dress. Currently I'm prepping to make the Burda 6895 (short view) in a camel corduroy. I made the same pattern last winter in a lovely dark green wool, but this time I'm going to hack in some set-in pockets, because pockets!

Lots of nice makes! Can you make a video someday about the stay tape zipper method? I’ve never heard of that but I think it would be easier than my needles that might be causing the uneven insertion.

Hi Suzie, I'm loving your latest makes 👌💟. I'm particularly loving the Libby shirt and must get around to buying that one 👍. I have made the Monty shirt by Style Ark, which is similar to the Libby, but I'd still like to try it to compare. Your mint cotton lawn looks gorgeous and perfect with the skirt too 💕. I'm going through a bit of a lull at the moment with my sewing but I'm sure that it will come back soon 😉. Gardening has taken over a bit and general house maintenance 😝... but with autumn coming I'm bound to have more time to sew ✂ 👍.
