I can't scrounge for my next meal nor portion control when I am starving. Meal planning is a must. Go grocery shopping with food already in your stomach. An empty stomach is an empty wallet with a bunch of sidetrack foods. Have a shopping list of solid meals.

Meal prep has always been helpful for me. That was how I was able to stay on track throughout the week. I save the fancy dishes for days off/weekends.

I love meal prep! Definitely part of my setting myself up for success. I'm not someone who needs lots of variety during the week so these days, for breakfast I alternate between yogurt bowls and cottage cheese bowls and for lunch tuna salad and egg salad. I have some easy go to's for dinner which is usually vegan.

You are absolutely right!! Any time I've been successful with weight loss it was due to meal prep. I didn't even go to the gym daily and I saw results.

Awesome, thanks Melissa, I did all my chia puddings for next 4 mornings and I'm 100percent in for the prep, it's chicken for next 4 days for lunch and it's beef and mushroom for dinners! It's actually really exciting and I'm going to drink tea if I feel like eating more!! ;-) 🎉

100% agree and I use the same method. Cook a load of roasted veg, protein (fish) and diced potatoes in the oven all at once. It also reduces energy costs as I make the most of the oven being on. I also pre-cut a lot of raw veg in strips to add to salad/eat as a snack. If going out for the day I’ll take my own snack of piece of fruit, nuts and piece of cheese in a small box.

I’m meal prepping for the first time now and it has made it so much easier to stick to my nutrition plan. It’s not time consuming when you’re keeping the meals simple. When I have time and energy I can cook more complicated meals but when I’m busy I have this to reach for. This is a habit I will carry forward!

I been order Hello Fresh for a year now and I love not only dose all meals i order come in the package that i need to make that meal, but too i have to worry about shopping. I can lunch or dinner that you would like to make. But also all the meals come with the ingredients measures out for you as well.

Hi. I noticed that the individual foods are not combo's. In my country, some of our meals tend to be rice cooked with chicken or beef; or potatoes in potato pie/scalloped potatoes, lasagna or macaroni pie. For example, a meal may consist of stewed chicken, peas, potato pie, green salad What's your advice on these?

Well, that depends. Are the leftovers for you or someone else? Take out any food that has gone bad. Get food containers that are specifically for your meal prep and label them so no one else will eat them if you're sharing the fridge with others.
