5:34 - Can't blame you. Truly an irresistible character, and I say that as someone born in 1994 who wasn't introduced to her until 2008

Pretty sure Virutal On you should say has three move bars, but those moves were changed pending on your movement or action. Different direction dashes would produce different variants, as did jumping, and there was another thing many over looked. You can crouch the mech and that too let to different attacks with different fire types.

You my friend have great taste! Although I've never really talked about it on the channel, I loved the Dreamcast...I even could not wait for the US launch and imported one from Japan early!

Thank you for saucy Vampire Savior footage. Somehow import Felicia looks even juicier than local Felicia

Night Warriors is actually the second DarkStalkers game, however the story wasn't changed at all, though had more characters and thus more endings. It also changes having to do your enhanced special if you had a level into making when you wanted to do those special more of a choice option. Playstation got stuck with the first rendition of DarkStalkers and thus the less characters, but meanwhile both consoles TECHNICALLY got their exclusives back in the day.

I love the Treasure and Capcom games. I never owned a Saturn as a kid, but you got me hyped my man. I think I am going to pick one up and splurge on some import titles. The fan translations add so much now too to the overall Saturn library. Subbed.

I know! I'm noticing that there are so many more fan localized games that I ever thought as I go through the library.

Great collection. Back in Boston when I was around 20yo-ish I worked at Software Etc in the Saugus mall. A friend of mine worked at the Electronics Boutique (EB Games) in the same mall and he brought me a VHS recording of the import version of Saturn X-Men Children of the Atom. That started a rabbit hole for me. I started buying imports from a store in NY called Tronix. Got X-Men, Gradius Deluxe Pack, Salamander Deluxe Pack... Capcom fighters were instant purchase lol. Before the N64 came out I quit Software Etc and switched to my friend's store. It was import mania by that time. Him and me just buying stuff because we couldn't wait. Getting PS stuff, Saturn stuff. So much fun. Elevator Action Returns, Vampire Savior, X-Men vs SF, Grandia, SNK stuff, Fire Pro Wrestling S, shooters upon shooters, and so many more. I think Fighters Megamix got delivered on Christmas whichever year it came out, if I remember correctly. When the store suddenly started selling Saturn imports we were baffled, but because we had experience, we helped anyone interested. (they also sold import Virtual Boy games too). Currently living in Zephyrhills FL and my Saturn import collection is still with me LOL. This import craze carried on to DreamCast and PS2. Thanks for reading. Liked and subscribed.

That's amazing! I really think that I liked the Saturn so much back in the day because I had access to some imports. I might not have liked it as much as I did if I didn't get some of those key import titles.

@@TheMalitz17 Once I went to EB I started making VHS recordings of import DreamCast games to get people hyped up, but of course there were those kinds of people out of their element. During the video of House of the Dead 2, a kid said it was Resident Evil. I explained, it's HotD2, and he continued, "nah it's Resident Evil". When showing off Marvel vs Capcom for DreamCast, very young kids said the graphics were terrible... I think I started to feel old at that point LOL. Thankfully I don't work retail anymore.

@@enemyzerogaming It's a shame so much was left overseas. The system was overshadowed by the PlayStation so fast in the US, I think Sega America just gave up LOL Love my import Saturn stuff. There was a rumor that when the PS came out they didn't have enough of those ugly tall fragile boxes, so Sega helped them. Is that even true because for a while the Saturn and PS boxes were identical. I even remember replacing my ugly PS MK3 with the eventual jewel case one once it appeared.

X-men vs Street Fighter was the ultimate crossover that I never knew I wanted, but was amazed by it when it came out! I'm sure I learned about it originally in a Gamefan magazine which was my favorite growing up by far.

Great video! Those are some interesting imports. I've never heard of Silhouette Mirage, seems like a unique gimmick for a platformer. Also I really need to get into the Grandia's and Radiant Silvergun. Probably going to go with one of the modern versions.

Especially on the Saturn, if you can add in Japanese imports into your collection you almost open up a whole new world. There is so much more there than what was released in the US and it's super awesome that some of them are finally get digital versions like Grandia and Radiant Silvergun!

I got my import Saturn games the very same way here up in North West Indiana. EB would call me and that’s how I got Castlevania Symphony of the Night and I got through it and thought I beat it but as we know now you have to beat it twice but I can’t read Japanese. Great video!

Nice! It was so cool having an EB Games that would also stock imports. It definitely helped build up my love for the Saturn back in the day...if I wasn't exposed to the imports I might not have liked it as much as I did.

I actually have a ram cart that is the varous meg karts needed also for the SNK games AND an ST Key. But yeah I had to do that for a while too. Had an ACTION REPLAY PLUS kind of cart that took care of the lot. maybe there's something comparable now you can get still.
@enemyzerogaming
@enemyzerogaming Жыл бұрын
I think you can use the 4M cart with most 1M cart games but there are some visual glitches and bugs with some games. I read somewhere that there are some fan patches to patch some 1M cart games to work properly with the 4M carts but I've never used any myself.
@Bangcat
@Bangcat Жыл бұрын
You are correct, and i had that happen with the 4m, but I had one that was then suited to the lot and it would auto switch. I still have it somewhere. Best tool for import playing, hands down as it was also an ST Key and onboard save storage. @@enemyzerogaming

I love the saturn, it broke my heart as a kid trading it for a PS1! but thats where the games were at the time. Going forward i started collecting imports 5 years ago, and found a boatload of games i hadnt even heard of before, and fell in love with the system again! Ive loved finding out, and playing all these great games we never had! and especially shooters! so many great shooters on the system. Radiant Silver gun is good, but it doesnt compare to the Psikyo and cave shooters on the system! enjoyable watch! ✌✌

The Japanese versions of the Biohazard is actually very un censored. Even later when the re release of Director's cut was actually STILL CENSORED, due to some miss communications. Thus it was actually still very flawed from it's promise right on the box on the Playstation.

Not really, my stuff is pretty bare bones as it's just a hobby right now. I have a Panasonic G7 camera and just some basic, cheap LED lights from Amazon :D My mic is a Blue Yeti connected to my PC, which is just off screen. I don't use the audio on my camera but I do have a basic shotgun RODE microphone for it!

💜VAMPIRE SAVIOR ❤ Also my first import game ! (Alongside X-MEN vs. STREET FIGHTERS and AZEL PANZER DRAGOON !... not knowing it would land outside of Japan. Duh). And yeah, GRANDIA... such an wonderful game ! (I'm personnaly more into Lei Lei and Lilith though 😅, but Felicia is indeed an amazingly cute funny and sexy, and a really powerful character. And that goes without saying, the best catgirl ever created.) Regarding CLOCKWORK KNIGHT... No, no, your point regarding wether TOY STORY or CLOCKWORK KNIGHT came first is actually totally valid ! I think the game came out more than one year before TOY STORY. In Japan; but it seems the concept was definitely influenced by the then announced Pixar movie project... Hmmm. TREASURE !! I still have some fondness for it, but yeah, SILHOUETTE MIRAGE came out as a ... little disappointment. Very pleasant video ! You've got a very nice collection ! SEGA SATA~N SHIRO ! One of the best - yet most underrated - game console ever released ! ... And my personal favorite !

@@enemyzerogaming Yeah, Vampire Savior, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Guardian Heroes are some of my all-time favorites! I purchased the Lilith and Felicia Bishoujo statues, designed by Shunya Yamashita, a few months ago: they're both so, so cute! 🥰... Forget what I said earlier: I really love Felicia too!! (and love the way she can hold onto the edges of the screen). (I also have some fondness for EO too! 😉 Although playing it in Japanese wasn't very helpful... But the dubbing sounded kinda good at least - also probably because I couldn't understand the cheesiness of the dialogs.😅) Too bad the prerendered sequences are so slow, and the puzzles so poorly made (damn stupid "lift puzzle"!), but the sheer tension during the maze sections still rank the game among the most stressful and most memorable experiences I ever encountered in an videogame !... not to mention the limited number of saves!)

Vampire Savior has the option to play it in English via cheat code. And the only other way to play The House of the Dead is the PC version. Grandia - Recommended the polished HD port. Radiant Silvergun: Get the digital version in the modern consoles. (Still waiting for Guardian Heroes on the Switch...)

Saturn was definitely getting the short end of the stick, especially at the video store. Definitely was easy as a Ps1 owner to go rent a game, yet some video stores either had a pathetic section for Saturn games, or non existent.

A man of impeccable good taste and style. US folks got NetLink which is genius - Wish we had that in the UK. Really appreciated the long box as well. PAL was the worst lol. I wish we got a Resident Evil 2 port with the 4MB cart. Capcom were so amazing on the Saturn. Massive Grandia fan. Great memories! All the best!!
