Same but sadly though you just can’t win with this. People used to get really upset about buying too many clothes and buying from fast fashion. Thankfully people have calmed down though. Haven’t really seen the constant comments about this with KZbinrs since I think around before covid. People were honestly really annoying about it.

For the little hook for your unif boots you could just go to a small shoe/leather repair shop. They could properly put one in for you and it’s usually very affordable. Love your shoe collection!

Yes! It's always a good idea to look for the item on multiple platforms. You can usually find the seller selling the same exact item for different amounts. As a seller myself I end up having items sold for different amounts because I forget about my listings 😅. On macari you can set it to automatically lower the cost of the listing as time progresses. So sometimes my listings on macari tend to be cheaper than my listings on depop. Plus depop fees are out of control!

I have ZERO arches and have had 3 surgeries to try and remedy my issues- I ended up with 4 pins in my ankle (I don’t recommend the surgery tbh) so it’s nice to hear what works for you! I have to have an arch support in shoes, even ones I wear around the house- the first thing I do in the morning is put on my shoes or I limp 😩

I'm a huge shoe enthusiast, so this was so fun to watch! I'd recommend going to a cobbler for tbe missing eyelet on that one pair of boots. I used to break those types of eyelets on my figure skates, and the skate shop always had replacements on hand. I assume a cobbler would work the same way.

Since you only need one lace hook replaced for those chunky black boots, you might just take them to a shoe repair shop. Should be a super easy fix for them :)

re breaking in docs, my favorite pair out of the 6 or so that i’ve owned has been a pair with soft leather, least comfortable would be an older pair of 1460 koram flash ones (probably because the leather is thicker and harder). my 1460 pascals didn’t need to be broken in at all!

I’ve never owned a pair of Dr. Martens but for the past few months I’ve been obsessing over the Jadon Max. I’m going to invest on my first pair soon for sure. I've been fighting my first pair of docs for the past year 😭 I think I'm finally making progress after putting insoles in them. Before my socks would slip down constantly and the bottom was so hard and uncomfortable but now they make my toes go numb!!!! Lol I still wear them because they're cute but it's a bit of a struggle to walk

@@StarrySeagull they could be too small for you. I bought a size 5 and wore them for over a year and never broke them in. Went to a shoe place to get them stretched and the guy told me I should’ve got a size 6. Stretched the shoes; it didn’t work. Sold them; bought a size 6… most comfortable shoes ever. I wear my docs almost every single day comfortably. With the size 5 I got blisters after 30 mins. Definitely try a size bigger. When I tried a size 6 in store, I thought they were too big. Now I realize I was wrong and they were perfect :P

I am also now on my second pair of the white skechers, and they are my go to sneakers. They are a bit too thick for the summer, but they are sooo comfortable and great for other seasons. And just the right amoutn of" chunky". Plus they are reasonably priced :) + Your hair looks amazing!

Love this video and you! I have the regular Sinclairs (not the max version) and the laces annoyed me too! I bought a pair of the shorter laces from Docs that are made for 3-eye 1461s and use them when I have the zip laced in. They are long enough to secure the zip with a little knot on each side but don’t hang down and annoy my feet when I’m wearing them!! Could be worth a try xx

Here comes the secret to breaking in Docs: cover them in wonder balsam (leather conditioner- not wax, there's also wax but that's for after) and stick them on your heater vent over night sideways our upside down so that the hot air hit it. Really push it into the heel seem, ankle edges, and anywhere else the leather overlaps. You can also use a hair drier but it takes a loooong time. The next morning it should be soaked in, do it one more time. They'll be soft as butter.
