Hello guys, Here's my simple wash day routine.I do this weekly and I always have the best results with my hair feel moisturised and nourished all week long

I really liked your shampoo process. Many naturals shy away from getting an excellent lather and undoing the twists at least once during the process to ensure every strand is coated. I always feel my deep conditioner performs better on a blank canvas.

I love your hair...but gosh, am I the only type 4 who CANNOT was my hair in twists? It literally turns into a tangled, knotted, rats nest...Anybody out there like me?

I also hate washing my hair in twists. The roots get all tangled and I don’t feel like my hair is properly cleansed.

I always prepoo/detangle with oil first before twisting my hair in about 10 twists prior to washing. I feel that helps. When in the shower and a few of them loosen up, I use the water to lightly detangle and re twist as soon as they unravel. Also, make sure your parts are as clean as possible - you don’t have to use a comb to make them but just try get them as straight as you can with just your fingers.

Simply braid about first 1 inch of section,then twist the rest of the section down to the ends. Very simple. Helps hold plaits in place and reduces frizz and fuzziness at root, and holds them in place for the week.

Thank you so much for sharing your wash day routine. I usually untwist and retwist, but I’m gonna try it your way to see if this process works for me. I also LOVE to seal my hair using the blue magic grease. I’m currently using the castor oil one but I also have the blue one and the super sure grow jars as well. Again, THANK YOU!! ***EDIT*** Yoooo sis!!! I tried washing in braids and OMGOSH…THANK YOU, thank YOU!! This was sooo simple and I was able to wash (3 Xs, I usually do 2 Xs), do a protein treatment, deep condition, and style all in a matter 2 and a half hours, which included a total of an hour underneath the dryers!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Now, I can and I will start back my weekly hair care routine, minus the protein treatment!! #SoExcited 😁

Yay! So good to hear that from someone who has the same routine like mine. I do the same sometimes to untwist and retwist while washing. It depends on how big the mini braids or twists are but some times my twists untwist so yeah. Blue magic is the bomb. I should try castor oil soon
