Its actually great. It was one of the first products based on hyaluronic acid. Lots of brands and products have this in now but EL night repair was one of the first. It great at holding moisture in the skin without adding oil or blocking pores so good for all skin types x

I do recommend them they have some really good blackhead clearing washes and treatment gels....although the range in the UK is quite different from whats available in the US. I find the range bigger and more comprehensive in the US. X

I have been reviewing these videos i discovered more than 10 years ago, when i was still living with my parents and had no idea about makeup or skincare.... More than a decade later they are so so on to date and (beside for discontinued products) so useful for everyone!!! So much knowledge given away by her along all this years.... We can only thank Lisa and now her whole team for all this!!!

@RyubiRarefied it not the salicylic acid thats drying you out, more likely to be the cleaning agents (sulphates) in the face wash...Maybe use a less harsh face wash...maybe a wash off 'non foaming' cleanser instead? x

Your philosophy is very refreshing. It has been the way I've always gone with skin care, simple, gentle, and being very wary of the ingredients in the products. Less is more, you're the first person I've met who's mentioned that kinda thing. And that it's not very good for your skin to get used to certain products:)

@SuperSweetheart1980 yes you will probably wrinkle less but dont use that as an excuse to not protect your skin in the sun (when most damage occurs) with a daily SPF. I started using eye cream at 23 but you can start whenever you like....dont listen to the counter lady lol X

I really enjoyed these vids about your personal regime. I'm 42 years old and starting to gets lines under my eyes. I sold Lancome in my 20's so I know how to take care of my skin. I've been using eye cream for years. My skin is in good shape for my age. I find it interesting that you don't like anti-aging creams. You look so terrific, I would have though that you used lots of heavy product. I'm glad to see that it's not necessary. Thanks again!!

Sounds like it could be the detergents in the facewash that are causing the dryness. Thats why i always prefer to use a VERY gentle cleanser rather than a foaming one aimed at oily problem skin. I prefer to follow this with a treatment that contains salicylic acid. I personally find Dermalogica Overnight Clearing gel to be very gentle and effective on blemishes and blocked pores/blackheads. See if you can get a sample. My philosophy is definitely cleanse super gently and then treat X

Love that skin clearing gel. Gentle on skin over 25 that breaks out. I think it is important to find an excellent aesthetician. My aesthetician actually taught me more about my skin than my derm. A good aesthetician will treat your skin in zones and will not use the same products on your entire face. They will tell you what your skin needs as far as ingredients in skin care, rather than just trying to sell you the brand where they work. Took me a long long time to find one I like though.

Have you ever tried the Milk Make-up Remover from L'occitane and the Eye Make-up Remover from Neil's Yard Remedy? They are my absolute favourites, esp. the one from Neil's yard because removes water proof mascara almost instantly but it is not oily at al. It feels like water on your eyelids!

Hi Lisa. Please consider to make an updated list of your top serums. I really enjoy face masks, bha aha, balms etc but in my everyday routine I do feel that a good serum always makes a difference. I do enjoy the advanced repair serum Ii by Estée Lauder , I wanted to try kiehls midnight recovery concentratel but after reading the reviews from Paula's choice I became hesitant. Also I would like to know your thoughts on Sunday Riley's oils like Luna sleeping night oil for sensitive skin types. If they are worth to invest. I'm 25 years old (no signs of aging) with a touch of sensitive combination skin. Thank you for ur time. A

lisa, thank you for recommending dermalogica products, my brother has moderate to severe acne and being on the proactive system for more than a year is useless. he continued anyway because he thought it actually needed more time to work (but it didn't, unfortunately) even though it really dried him out. i wanted to buy just the overnight clearing gel, but of course having never tried it out, i was scared i'm recommending something that's gonna to another dead end. in 3 weeks, changed drastically

@scraddockmakeup I would also get a simple, light moisturiser (try the neutrogena daily moisturiser for combination skin). If that doesn't help you should go to a specialist and have them tell you your skin type so you know you are using the right products for your skin. Best of luck xxxxxx

Hi Lisa, I'm not 100% what to use on my skin. I have senstive acne prone skin. Anything that is made to fight acne or spots dries my skin out, and anything that keeps my skin hydrated doesn't help spots at all. I'm really at a loss

@scraddockmakeup I'm not sure if this helps as I have never had much in the way of spots, however I recently had a bad reaction to a very popular UK cleanser (I won't bash the name) and for the first time in my life I got quite a few spots. I changed to the l'occitane immortelle brightening cleanser and my skin has completely cleared. If that doesn't help, try the murad moisture rich cleanser, it might settle your skin down. It will definitely balance it. I hope this helps.

Great video, I have a question. What are the most effective products or cosmetic treatments you've used that work on very large pores that are always getting clogged up with blackheads? I have very bad large pores across my nose and cheeks and if I exfoliate too much, I look like a strawberry with the redness too. I've heard that microdermabrasion might work, but wonder if it's worth the cost, just for pore problems.

I'm currently using a microdermabrasion home system and your skincare videos made me reconsider due to the harshness of it. Lisa, I keep getting recurring spots! I had my worst breakout during the summer and it's now autumn and I've still got 2 or 3 spots/marks. I assume it's pigmentation? I can get another spot on or around those areas so easily now. During the summer I didn't pick at them, was very gentle and worked on getting my skin to settle so I can't understand why these spots won't heal up and/or fade. I'm using the Avene & Dermalogica Cleanser. I use the gel alot and more rarely the exfoliator. Any tips?
