Glad that your son was able to walk away from that. He was also lucky he had the dash cam. I hope the woman's insurance will cover getting your son a new used replacement car that won't get a check (MIL) engine light coming on. LOL She was clearly at fault. Nice that you met Junior You and Rusty stay safe. BTW I have a ROVE Dashcam. Maybe one day I'll attempt to upload a video. LOL

Thank goodness the camera was rolling. Drivers just don't pay attention to what they are doing. I turned my keys. To many close calls and I was a nervous wreck myself. Sure was good to see Junior O.....and in my home state too. Stay safe Mr Clutch and Rusty. I think Rusty is getting more perky!!

That sucks about your son's car. The insurance will cut a check for maybe $1100 if that.. He'll get more money if he wants to contact an attorney and go through a few months of physical therapy. I'm thinking about getting a dash cam. Does Rexing make different models? And just mount and go or do you need to wire it?

There are various Rexing models. The V-Basic is only $49. The 4 K is only $99. And there are options that include a rear camera for cars for only about $149.

It might not be wise to broadcast your son's collision dashcam footage. It's still a pending matter that may have to go into litigation. Showing the video for profit could have negative influence on the outcome.
